the rule of thumb for a place like this is - order what they sell the most of - thats wings and fish frys----I absolutely love the med buff wings here - big meaty - always cooked through
Ordering is at the bar - and if you hang around, you'd notice that - (hint to the other complainer on this page) - prices are reasonable, and the scenery is often changing. Screened porch for smokers
as for the fish fry - Im not so impressed - Charlie Reidels in Canandaigua has a better one - but its still good
Hogs 'n Heifers meets Chucky Cheese and somehow it works. 5th star for the shotgun-shell casing shaped x-mas lights adorning the bar. Such a lovely touch!
Pertinent info: Â Wed is wing night and you have to go to the bar to place your order and get your beer then they bring the food to your table.
I'll admit right now that I'm biased. Â I worked at this place for a few years while I was in high school. Â It is the best "local" bar in Naples. Â The food is good (for standard pub fare of course) and so are the prices. Â They have the best wings! Â You have to order a dozen, even if as an appetizer to share. Â The tavern fries are also good. Â They cut the fries fresh every day. Â If that's not your thing they also have the frozen steak fries and seasoned curly fries. Â The beer selection is limited. Â It is a small local bar though and the majority of people in town drink Coors Light and Bud Light. Â Don't expect to get a micro brew of any sort there. Â It is what it is.
They only take cash and also there are no servers. Â You put your order in at the bar. Â The best nights to go are Wednesdays and Saturdays, their wing nights.
