the rule of thumb for a place like this is - order what they sell the most of - thats wings and fish frys----I absolutely love the med buff wings here - big meaty - always cooked through
Ordering is at the bar - and if you hang around, you'd notice that - (hint to the other complainer on this page) - prices are reasonable, and the scenery is often changing. Screened porch for smokers
as for the fish fry - Im not so impressed - Charlie Reidels in Canandaigua has a better one - but its still good
Hogs 'n Heifers meets Chucky Cheese and somehow it works. 5th star for the shotgun-shell casing shaped x-mas lights adorning the bar. Such a lovely touch!
Pertinent info: Â Wed is wing night and you have to go to the bar to place your order and get your beer then they bring the food to your table.
I'll admit right now that I'm biased. Â I worked at this place for a few years while I was in high school. Â It is the best "local" bar in Naples. Â The food is good (for standard pub fare of course) and so are the prices. Â They have the best wings! Â You have to order a dozen, even if as an appetizer to share. Â The tavern fries are also good. Â They cut the fries fresh every day. Â If that's not your thing they also have the frozen steak fries and seasoned curly fries. Â The beer selection is limited. Â It is a small local bar though and the majority of people in town drink Coors Light and Bud Light. Â Don't expect to get a micro brew of any sort there. Â It is what it is.
They only take cash and also there are no servers. Â You put your order in at the bar. Â The best nights to go are Wednesdays and Saturdays, their wing nights.
There's a lot of mixed reviews for this place, but on a Wednesday night it is a good place to go for 35 cent wings. The wings are really good too! Â I had mild and sweet & sour and they both were really good. My friends had regular wings and boneless wings and they liked their food too! Â This place gets packed with families and everyone from the area on a Wednesday night so it can be a little crowded but for the price its worth it. Its a tavern so if you want beer and wings its the place to go, but for an actual dinner you might wanna try some of the other places in Naples to eat a real meal.
Review Source:5 Stars people are we serious? A group of us (5) came in for dinner, sat down in the screened in pouch area and waited...and waited and waited finally went in and asked if we could get some food and drinks the bartender said yeah you have to order at the bar, so there are no servers here. So I went and took everyone ones order, I should have just went in the kitchen and cooked our food too, we got a lot of appetizers and a few entrees, most of the appetizer were pretty good, the mozzarella sticks and wings, I can't remember what the others were but the group thought they were pretty bad. They took a long time to get to our table as well didn't know I was supposed to be the food runner too. The entrees were not all that bad but like everything else it took forever for it to get to our table. The pizza was pretty gross. the only think good about this place is the price everything is pretty cheap but for the experience it was over priced on this night!
And one last thing no ATM and they only accept Cash.
