Feeling a little frustrated by this place. I want to love it cause it right in my neighborhood, and its cheaper than Round table, but the pizza is pretty blah. You can truly taste how cheap the ingredients are. The salads are $5.00 and they are total crap. the employees and service is what really turns me off. They are usually trashy and on their damn cell phones, which annoys the piss out of me. And they charge for using a credit card, which is pretty lame too. I don't plan on going there again. The best thing on the menu is the Bocci bites. They are delicious fried dough with butter and cheese. Comes with a dipping sauce and only $3.99. That is the ONLY reason they are not getting 1 star.
Review Source:Some of the best pizza I've had, including fancier places. Â Their ingredients taste fresh and there is something that feels lighter than the typical grease bomb pizza. Â It could be their delicious crust which is apparently made fresh and with filtered water.
My husband and I always order an extra-large specialty - half vegetarian, half combination. Â I'm a vegetarian and he loves meat so everyone is happy. Â We end up having some left-over for lunch the next day which is always a bonus.
We usually pick it up from their store front but their delivery is good too.
Customer service is just fine, never had any problems that warrant a complaint.
Always nice to have a great pizza joint in the neighborhood, keep it up Mingles!
I don't like pizza but it's convenient. Â Last night I ordered Mingle's pizza and I LOVED it. Â It was probably the BEST pizza I've ever had! Â We had it delivered - it arrived hot, fresh and totally delicious! We're new to the area and didn't know who to order from...we lucked out. Â I actually ate my whole pizza - usually I can get through two slices at the most...thank you and most definitely we'll be regular customers.
Review Source:You HAVE to try the calzones. Â They are great and huge!
Pesto pizza is also quite good. Â Had a friend stay with us for a week, and introduced her to MIngles. Â I think she called in two more orders during the week.
Tonight I am staying home to avoid the Halloween Parties after effects on the roads, etc. Â Called at 6:05pm and was told 45 minutes for delivery, which is reasonable given the time and date.
1 Combo Calzone (did I mention these are huge?)
1 Ceasar Salad (plenty for two really)
1 Garlic Cheese Bread
Total $14.59 delivered, looks like a $2.50-$3.50 tip (still makes this worth it to me) on top of that. Â Plenty for two people or Sunday football leftovers.
In all fairness we haven't tried a whole lot from this place. The pizza is average, there are better pizza options closer to home, but the pizza bite things are insanely good! If you're looking for a quick, cheap, yummy carb binge to enjoy on a cold day you can't beat these. They're super affordable, ready really quick and tasted like they came from some place far more expensive than this. Only gotten them a few times because frankly, they're so good each time we've gotten them we've nearly hurt ourselves from over indulging!
Review Source:They get 2 stars because they were fast and I came here way too hungry. It was the first place I drove past and I was starving. The food and service are not good though. The guys behind the counter were totally greasy. Like a layer on both their faces. It was gross. The crust was spongy and I think it was frozen because I saw them putting it in the oven with no toppings and it looked pre-machine pressed then they added toppings and baked the pizza. So you can imagine the pizza wasn't good. I was glad to have something in my stomach but almost anything else would be better tasting and better for you. I'd had a lot of Mexican food this week so I Â didn't go to an old favorite Los Panchos right next door. Go there instead. The food is fresh and good and cheap.
Review Source:We tried calling for a long time and the phone was busy! Finally after about half an hour we decided just to go down there and order since we were planning on picking up the pizza anyway. When we went in to order I noticed the lady behind the counter had both phones off the hook purposely, she really didn't look that busy, nor did she really seem to enjoy her job. We waited the 15 minutes.... the phones were still off the hook. While waiting I saw on the door it said to YELP, so here it is.
Review Source:Yuck!!! Just ordered their pizza and both kids feel sick and my husband is saying his stomach is hurting now too. Pizza was cold, lady on the phone was rude and I'm pretty sure we have food poisoning. I'm thinking the people who gave this place anything over one star must have had the munches or are related to the owners. This place is horrible!!!
Review Source:I have had this pizza a few times and the pizza is delicious and the delivery is always fast. Â Unfortunately, the last few times I have tried to order, they don't answer the phone! Â I literally sat for 5 minutes letting it ring. Â No answering service, no real person taking my order just endless ringing. Â It is really disappointing.
Review Source:For being a smaller pickup delivery type pizza joint this place is legit! Â My fiance ordered several pizzas for me and my friends on my birthday a few years ago. Â I was like woah whoa, what the hell is Mingles. Â She was like trust me I've had them. Â I guess you could say I'm a pizza snob (Melo's, Rocco's, Sorrento's) being raised locally (anyone remember Paisano's?). Â So when she said Mingles I was like huh, what, no? Â Man it came and it was damn good. Â Now I'm a regular, its quick, cheap, and good. Â The staff isn't the friendliest, but whatever.
I'm giving it 4 stars based on other quicker pickup/delivery style pizza joints.
My bf and I come here about 1x or twice a month and we usually get a large pizza; half combo for me and the other half pepperoni, salami and tomatoes for him. I only eat pizza when I'm REALLY craving it since I'm not really a huge fan, but man... when I do crave it, I drag my bf here ASAP! Idk what the other people were ordering but ours always comes out fast, perfectly cooked and deeeelish!
Review Source:Mingles Pizza is lovely, actually. I was very satisfied with the order I got, Large sausage & pepperoni pizza with buffalo wings. The wings are SO GOOD. It's not the MOST AMAZING pizza you'll ever have, but it's good and will leave you pleased. For my order it only took 25 minutes to get done. Definitely going back :)
Review Source:Quite literally the worst pizza I've ever had... just very very poor quality ingredients. The good reviews have got to be family members... this place just has really gross food.
Not trying to be a jerk here, just telling the truth. First and last time for me. Round Table or even Domino's is better quality.
I don't understand how the reviews are so high for this place. Â Â Don't get me wrong the pizza I ordered was not horrible, but to receive the reviews that it did just leaves me baffled. Â If I had my eyes closed I would not be able to tell the difference between this place The Pizza Guys or Mountain Mikes. Â It taste like a typical chain pizza joint. Maybe I went on a really off night. Â I have to go back and make sure that we are all talking about the same place by 7-11 and Subway.
Review Source:Pizza Quality: NOTHING SPECIAL. Â No idea why it has such a high rating - just average pizza.
I'm giving them back a star because the owner (quite possibly because of the Yelp review) finally called last night and left a message offering to buy my boy a birthday present. Â That was humane, but doesn't change the fact that they let us down. Â My husband and I decided to let it go because we're better off just moving on.
Just wanted to be fair and say that the owner did reach out, days after completely flaking and after I ranted, but he did reach out.
"Don't judge a book by it's cover". T hat saying really applies here. Â And they deliver too!
This places makes an excellent pizza, bar none! Â It's very tasty, and the ingredients seem to be extremely fresh. Â It's just the combo of stuff that makes their pizzas really good, I can't put my finger on it! Â It just seems to be a combination of doing all things right. Â Their thin crust is just that, and cooked just right. Â They're much better than Round Table, IMHO, and their prices are very reasonable.
I've walked by this place a half dozen times at least, picking up food from Los Ponchos, in Pacheco. Â All the while, thinking to myself - how can this place survive, with Los Ponchos right there?
It's the food dummy. Try it, you will not be disappointed...

Updated Jun16th 2011:
Ordered a pizza for deivery, requested extra parm cheese & pepper packets. Delivery did NOT include them, and calling back to the business at 9:40 pm did not result in anyone answering the phone...
Minus 1
But the delivered pizza was frickin' excellent...we must admit...
Mingles is our go to spot for fast, delicious pizza. Delivery is always within 45 minutes of placing the order. The people are incredibly helpful and nice and give you great deals. Price is amazing, usually $27-$30 for large pizza, wings and bocci bits. The pizza is consistently delicious, especially the crust.
I am so glad we found this place! Highly recommended!
Usually we order pizza from Domino's (they have stepped their game up recently) but my boyfriend was saying that him and his friend used to ALWAYS eat at this place and that it was really cheap too! so i had to give it a try.. with it being his night to pick dinner of course he chose Pizza (he always picks pizza btw) and said he wanted it from this place. We got a large half Pesto Supreme Half Chicken alfredo, a chicken caesar salad and some bocci bits.. all for 26 Dollars!
i wish there was more sauce on the pizza but other than that it was pretty good. the caesar was decent and the bocci bits were super yummy.. comes with marinara (i loveeee marinara!).
i will definitely be ordering from here again..
We are SO glad that Mingles took over this location. Â This pizza continues to be the absolute BEST in the area, bar none. Â You have to go to Amichi's in Danville to better this product.
Their crust is a superb, yeast based crust. Â Fresh. Â They know how to toss a crust including a thing crust. Â Very consistent. Â And they understand without asking that a thin crust pizza should be a bit more on the crispy side. Â Not burned. Â Simply crispy. Â They get it!!
Toppings are excellent. No frozen cheese here nor is the sauce canned. Â Excellent sauce - it actually tastes of Italizan spices. Â Good lord - is that really oregano?
Our samplings have been limited to pizza delivery which included their small, round, garlic rolls with marinara sauce. Â Very good especially for a delivered product.
There pizza is pretty good, good sauce good crust! Their garlic cheese bread is the bomb and so are their spicy strips of fire~ Can't beat the price either! Why would anyone go to a "chain" style pizza restaurant when they could order a less expensive better tasting pizza, or whatever from mingles. Their salads are pretty darn good too! :)
Review Source:We tried Mingles for the first time tonight based on all the reviews of 4 and 5 stars. Needless to say they scored big with us too. The pizza was great. So much so, my kids commented, "this is good." Â We got a large 3 topping pizza, 10 pc BBQ wings, 25 pieces of Bocci Bits, a all meat Calzone, and a liter of soda for $34. Â Not bad at all for a family of 6. We spend double that at a fast food place. All the previous posters and their comments is what made us go to Mingles tonight to experience for ourselves. I'm so glad we did.
Review Source:Thanks Ivy R. you were right!
At Ivy R. suggestion we tried Mingles Pizza for the first time tonight, I ordered my standard 1/2 cheese and 1/2 mushroom with extra sauce, but for some reason I decided to order sausage on my mushroom side. WOW! it was all about the sauce for me, that makes or breaks the deal for me. Thick rich red sauce perfectly seasoned, chunky, and alot of it. The crust was fresh and fluffy, loaded with the real deal cheese and fresh mushrooms with incredible chunks of sausage. I am guessing it is Ma and Pa family owned and ran. Very friendly. The only thing to keep me from this place.... is the parking lot situation, good thing they have delivery!!
This is the first review I've ever written although I often benefit from yelp reviews. Â My friend and I were in concord and when I decided to yelp a place for pizza. Â Now I'm from New York and have not found many places out here that serve a good pizza so I was a little bit of a skeptic. Â However, after reading the reviews which often times never fails me we decided to try it. Â OMG this pizza is every bit as good as all these reviews state. Â So much so I was compelled to write one myself. Â The crust is delicious, the sauce the perfect amount with no tomato after taste. Â The service excellent. Â The price better. Â I would travel again in the future just to get some of this pizza. I gave it a four simply because there really isnt a place to sit and enjoy your meal. Â Its more of a take out spot with a couple of small tables. Other than that I am a major fan of mingles. Â Love it!!!
Review Source:Love love love Mingles. They use great ingredients and have really good crust. We always get wings and bocci balls with our pizza which are both delicious. They deliver fast and oh, by the way, they are TOTALLY reasonably priced. I used to pay $50 at Round Table for what I get for $30 at Mingles.
Review Source:Love their combination pizza. We always order from them and their cheap and quick.
They have Bocci Bits also (25 pieces of fresh dough balls packed with garlic butter and topped with Parmesan cheese. comes with dipping sauce too ) Yummy, but maybe not that good for ya.
They have pizza, salads, Homemade pasta, calzones, subs and sides.
Should give them a try and forget about Round Table (that's super pricey), and Pizza Guys.
Where can we get lunch that delivers, is good, and doesn't cost a fortune? We have come upon Mingles Pizza. What a good choice!
Perhaps the all-natural spring water they use in the dough really makes a difference?
We ordered the Gourmet Veggie, and we all just loved it. It could have used more sundried tomatoes. You could barely see them, but the flavor of the overall pizza made me forgive the lack of sundried tomato.
I look forward to trying some of the other specialty pizza's in the future.Keep an eye out for the coupons. It's a good deal.
Best Calzone for one person ever. they are cooked right , and have alot of flavor, great food here best cheesy garlic bread ever, good pizza and great service , and delivery on time . Very good on price.
1 small Hawaiian pizza
2 lasagna w/ cheesy garlic bread free
3 calzone w 5 items
4 chicken strips
= $32.65
Loved this place when it was Pizza Nova, and still love it... Deliveries are always on time (less than 30 mins usually) and they know how to do special orders right.... I always ask for light cheese on my pizzas; most places screw up and still dump a boatload of greasy cheese on my pie but Mingles gets it perfect every single time... Have ordered from here for several years now, and will continue to do so. Friendly delivery people, too. Oh, and did I mention that the pizza is delicious?
Recommended!
This place was previously known as Pizza Nova. We loved it then and we love it now. They have this double bacon cheese burger pizza that is so good and bad for you all at the same time.
Their deliveries are fast and the delivery guys are always really nice and courteous.
A place I used to work at in Concord tried to get Round Table to deliver and they wouldn't deliver even though they were only a mile and half away. I told them to order from Mingles and it was there in 30 min.
