Service from hell..
We were a group of 8 hungry people who had been traveling all day for a business trip to Concord. To wrap it all into a nutshell: food didn't come out to taste the way it sounded on the menu (not enough flavor, too salty, nothing special), someone ordered their special of the day and they ran out of it without telling her, ran out of a certain bottled beer and took forever to come back and ask if he wanted something else, waitress mistook a plate of food for something else and was about to give it to somebody else at our table, bill took forever to come back to us.
We just wanted to get out of there and sleep this nightmare off at the hotel across the street. What we really should've done was stayed at the Claim Jumper which was our original plan, but we thought the atmosphere at Elephant Bar would be nice to have as our first dinner out in town.
I don't really care to visit another Elephant Bar. The food was not good for the price you have to pay anyway.
O've come here two time. Once for a dinner celebration with my nursing school clinical group (9 people). and another time on a date. I thought that they did a great job all around.
The service was great. They were attentive to our needs by getting drinks in a timely manner and serving our food all at once. Everyone enjoyed their food. I thought my food was tasty. The description on the menu was accurate. I ordered the pork ribs on one visit. They were tender and I had some left to go. another time I had coconut shrimp, it was what I expected. I wouldn't say that it was anything absolutely amazing. Just good food and good environment and good service. Â It is also a place you can dress causal or dress up a little. I would come back to this place. I thought it was a great place for a group or also a date.
