The Loaded Hog

SO this is it for The Loaded Hog!!!  been here every time I am in town and it is to bad that they want to put  DICKS sporting goods here and also take out the Cine'Arts next door.
Had some real good times here, tailgated with the crew at our RAIDERS game a year or so ago, lingerie nights and just having shot with the bartenders. will be there tonight to say goodbye!!!! going to be fun

DIVE BAR DIVINITY

If you haven't been to this bar you have less than a week to get here and enjoy the experience. Their last day is the 27th. Even though we don't frequent this place, I've been here many times. Even worked one night selling raffle tickets (hehe) many years ago.

Tucked away in the Shopping Center by the Dome, they won't survive the new plaza ownership and it seems they too will be demolished to make room for dicks. Dick's Sporting Goods, that is.  It's hard to say goodbye to fun places like this but I guarantee the good bye party will be worth attending. We'll probably try to show up sometime Saturday and see what's going on.

Farewells are best done in person - so make an appearance!

We went in there to have a quick drink before catching "Django Unchained" and I was very happy with the discovery.  Never been to the bar, the movie theatre or that particular area of Pleasant Hill really.....but I will be returning.  The bartendress was welcoming, poured a nice big helping of Wild Turkey and created a fancy mixed drink for me lady called the "Jackie O", even gave her the excess on the side like it was a milkshake.  We shall return. I like the local bars where the bartenders and the locals are warm as opposed to the "this is our place" kind of vibe.
