Put in charge of food for our 30+ group for a couple weeks in Breckenridge, I continually hunt for the best finds in terms of catering and customer service. In the latter, I have found every establishment to be affordable, caring, and extremely flexible with scheduling. Perhaps this phenomenon has to do in part with dead season.

Nonetheless, Moe's Original BBQ offers quite a surprise, in that our $9 a head pick-up order afforded us far too much food, albeit with 75% girls in our group.

The sweet potato casserole (with cornflake and pecan topping on the side so as to give maximum crunch), potato salad, white sauce (which surprised most of our folks in a good way), and broccoli cheese casserole all played a pivotal role in feeding our primal instincts of dietary desires of crunchy, mushy, creamy, meaty, and cheesy.

Additionally, the folks here cranked out formidable 'cue, despite being a franchise, and despite my Texas upbringing. The pulled pork and chicken did not yield the most moistness around, but I guess you cannot find outstanding 'cue in the snowlands of Colorado. I still very much appreciate Moe's dedication to serving up some low-and-slow animal product, though.

This place is phenomenal!  Awesome pulled pork sandwich and two sides (sides of the day were great!) and a drink for only $9. My only complaint is that they don't have unsweetened tea, but I'll do just fine with sweet for this meal.

Can't believe I'd never been. I got the catfish sandwich and my husband got the smoked turkey sandwich.  Both excellent.  They had coleslaw and pickles on them, and the fish was thick and still steaming.  The banana cream pudding was the best I ever had.  Mac and cheese was nice, if not amazing, and the fried cornbread was a little soggy.  Overall was very pleased - I'll definitely be back.  Fun ambience for lunch or a casual dinner.
