Jake's Dive Bar

I love Jake's.  It's an unpretentious and unapologizing Dive Bar!  What a breath of fresh air on Main St.  

Sometimes they have karaoke in the corner, which is a good time.  But this is the kind of place where you want to sit at the bar, have a whiskey and talk to your neighbors...and that kind of thing is a rare treat on Main St.

People who are complaining about the staff here probably came in expecting to be catered to, that is not Jake's if you need to waited on hand and foot, there are lots of places will to fill that void for you, but this is not one of them.  

Come to Jakes, have a great time, talk to strangers, talk to the bartenders...and you know what, if you are a dick you're going to be called on it......so don't be a dick!

Good bar. You looking to get drunk? Go here. Bring dollars because they hang them up on the wall/ from the ceiling. I had fun, the bar tender was cool and the locals in the bar we very nice. Pretty central place in town so I recommend you try it out.
