the hamburger meat was cheap, no flavor and WAY over cooked - I felt it had soy fillers in it, it was such poor quality. Â barely any toppings on it - small amount of onions, a tsp of saurcraut and old lettuce. Â My hubby said his bun was totally generic. Yeah, won't be doing that again.
Review Source:I Loooooooooooooooove this place - I have been searching for an awesome Turkey burger since I left NYC. I had to move here to be closer to family and yeah, this place has it! I've had 3 now, and they have all been amazing. They are well seasoned and just rightly portioned. Not too much bun, not too much meat, awesome condiments with a ton to choose from. My mom usually gets the Tree Hugger portabella burger and she loves it too. We split the 1/2 portion of the cajun fries once and they are seasoned super well but SO MANY OF THEM so keep that in mind while ordering. The staff are always super friendly. Love this place and will be back many times, glad they have a punch card :)
Review Source:Very, very good burgers with so many toppings from which to choose. You can get your burger absolutely any way you want it. Think Five Guys style but with more variety, and the bun is better too. Plus, when I asked about the skinny burger, the guy offered to make it turkey instead of beef if I wanted it. So nice! We will return here again when the weather is cooler and enjoy their nice patio on the back overlooking the trees. Good food AND good customer service deserves five stars!
Review Source:GREAT! Â Mojo's has a great product and a great atmosphere. Â I am the truest fan to the original Simpsonville location but do appreciate the Greenville location and is much closer to my normal activities. Â If you are looking for a great burger - stop here first... and don't forget the milkshake! Â Even when busy this location seems to keep up and get meals out quickly and they are delicious. Â Another great example of Brandon's hard work paying off!
Review Source:I came here after getting a groupon for $15. The prices were fine, and the selection of toppings was fantastic. I got a burger with onions, pineapple, teriyaki sauce, and avocado and there were plenty of each topping.
With that said, it's gotta be about the meat. And in that area, mojo's was weak. The chubby has two patties (kind of like five guys they do this so the meat cooks through faster). The meat was juiceless and cooked until it was grey and rubbery. You should never expect a rare burger from a fast-food joint, but this one was way on the wrong side of done, and the meat was not great.
In terms of service, it gets a solid B. They took our order and the burgers came in a reasonable time, even though it was busy. The downside was our onions rings came so late we had already finished our burgers.
Speaking of the onions rings, they were good, but not great. They definitely are the type of onions rings where over-breading, over-sizing, and over-salting make up for a lack of real flavor. But at least they're using whole onions and not frozen onion rings.
In my opinion, go to a pub and get a pint and a brew instead, or if you're in a hurry go to five guys.
The burgers are great! Â So many choices to build your own creation. Â The fried jalapenos are excellent....just slices of jalapeno battered and fried. Â Order the small basket as an appetizer....even the small basket is enough for 3 or 4 people. Â As good as the food is, I wish I could give an overall higher star ranking, but I can't due to the service. Â Most of the employees act like they've never heard of pleasing the customer. Â While friendly enough, most of the employees seem like they are there just for a check or to chat with friends who stop by. Â As for waiting on customers, you get the feeling the employees think "customers? Â what are those?".
Review Source:A burger is a burger is a burger. Honestly, what artistic requirements are necessary to create a turkey burger? Apparently, from the reviews on this locations, lots. The location is not that far away from centre town but it's located next to a semi-industrial area. Not appealing. The turkey burger was dry and brittle and there's no pizzaz about the place. They should change the name from Mojo's to Mofo's. That way, I'd know what to expect.
Review Source:Before this, I thought Five Guys had the best burger on the block. That was before I went to Mojo's.
Honestly, Five Guys and Mojo's are very comparable. There are two major differences with the burgers: Mojo's burgers are not quite as greasy (the bun was dry, unlike Five Guys) and there are different toppings. No fried onions here, but they do have toppings such as banana peppers and bleu cheese (nom nom nom).
In short, I think that I liked Mojo's more because I enjoyed the ingredients more, so it's merely a matter of taste.
Follow Sam's advice and get a regular order of fries for 4 or fewer.
Once you order, a waiter just brings out the food.
