Monical's is probably my favorite "non-Indiana chain" based pizza place. Â Really like their thin crispy crust (also re-heats well) and you just can't beat an occasional shredded iceburg lettuce salad. I'm no fan of iceburg, but there is just something about a Monical's salad...maybe it's the way their house dressing clings to it. I don't know, it's just a must.
My favorite has always been straight up pepperoni with pepperoncinis, but recently I've discovered their BBQ Chicken pizza...it's my new go-to.
If you are in the area (Avon) and feel like pizza, give it a try. They also deliver, which is another reason they receive so much love from me.
I have also been to group events at Monical's. They do a great job keeping the pizza flowing.
I'm a fan of Pizza King style pizza but I always wish it was just a little better. Â Monical's delivers on this minus the choo-choo trains and nostalgia.
I can't think of anybody who does thin crust party style cut better in the area. While the topping selection lacks fancier options, the classic staples never disappoint.
Interior decor is customary and average. The restroom cleanliness was acceptable. Â If it were just a little closer to my home I would likely eat here more often.
I really enjoy Monical's thin crust pizza.  It's not the crunchy cracker thin crust, but just a thin doughy crust.  I've only picked up pizza to go so I can't really review the dine-in service but the pizza to go service is good.  And, I've only had the thin crust pizza & the bread sticks so I can't review the other styles of pizza or the salads or the wings, etc.  The bread sticks are just sticks of........bread.  Not the chewy pizza crust style  bread sticks. Disappointing unless that's the style you like. But, the Italian Special thin crust pizza is what I crave from Monicals.  It is covered with a flavorful red pizza sauce, tasty small crumbly sausage, onions, GREEN OLIVES, mushrooms and pepperoncinis.  And, on top of this they add their own special seasoning blend that is very peppery.  They say a large 16" pizza will feed 4-5 people but I think 3 people can pretty much polish it off.  This is one of my favorite chain restaurant pizzas.
