Montclair Country Club

I feel bad because this is my first one star as a Yelper, although I'm sure it won't be the last.  This place is under new management so I hope they can improve things around there because it does have potential.  So, I'm going to try to be kind.

Pros:
1. Nice waitstaff
2. The bar area had style
3. The rooms were temperature controlled very well for the amount of warm bodies in them.
4. Yummy lemon cake
5. They had made a projector available to hook up laptops to and had a variety of cords to work with the laptop

Cons:
1. The parking lot needs lighting!!! This is the ultimate place to get kidnapped or trip or to almost run some one over (sorry old man, it was dark!)
2. It also needs repaving
3. The biscuits were cold, the potatoes were cold, the chicken was dry
4. Someone was given an unwashed glass with red lipstick still clearly on it
5. Service was on the slow side
6. The bathroom stalls were pretty run down
