A handful of my favorite things in one unassuming dive - great beer list, fair prices, great bar food, friendly local folks, and a fleet of sweet waitresses. It's a real "come as you are" type of place that has yet to disappoint. Mo's has been a meeting place for my friends and me for a few years now; a few cold pitchers, some greasy bites, and pool are always crowd pleasers. BEST happy hour in the area by far. Thanks Mo & staff!
Review Source:Good place to grab beers and watch some games. Â Bathrooms get kinda gross. Â When it gets busy, the servers can really get bogged down. Â The french dip is actually pretty good, and the wings are above-average. Â I haven't had anything else that I thought was anything better than just "OK."
Review Source:As my quest to find neighborhood establishments continues, we ventured out to Mo's on a Friday for happy hour. Walking in, I knew I was amongst the locals: this is about as relaxed an atmosphere for a LA bar as you can find. Our waitress was attentive & friendly, and her British accent lends a pub that serves fish & chips an air of respectability.
Now, about those fish & chips: I think your enjoyment of the food here will depend somewhat on your stomach's ability to handle greasy food. For me, both the french fries & fish were tasty, but not worth how sick I got later. The clam chowder was very bland, and ordering it in a bread bowl was a mistake. The cole slaw side was very good.
I would probably come here again for a couple of drinks and to watch a game in a  public setting, but I would probably order something else or skip the food entirely.
