A total tourist trap but nevertheless I had fun here.  I thought it was weird that they served shots in disposable shot glasses.  But the crowd was live and everybody was dancing.  The room was also huge with enough space for everybody so you're not packed in like sardines.  The DJ played mostly top 40 stuff which was okay in my book.  

Just to preface everything, we were here on a conference and it was just a short walk away.  I don't know how the regular clubs are in Orlando but for what it is, pleasure island gave me exactly what it had promised... pleasure.

The dance club-iest dance club at Pleasure Island. It's a cavernous space with a so-so lighting system, pumping out top 40 dance and hip-hop/booty/whatever music. Big screens over the DJ stage so you can watch Christina Aguilera do her thing. The drinks were acceptable (i.e. strong enough and made with bottom- to middle-shelf liquors), and the two ginormous bars on either side of the room meant little wait-time.

I'll admit that dancing at the club is not my first choice for a Saturday night; however, I've had better times doing that downtown, so this place is staying at a solid 2-star rating.

Admission is either for the club itself or a $25 pass to all of Pleasure Island. Non-smoking, 21 and up.
