  This is the only place in Polk County that I eat at regularly. They have some of the best BBQ in the area and it is a must do.

  I've known Shane & his crew for years and I LOVE the BBQ chicken plate!! The corndiggers are my favorite.  Always clean,friendly, and don't have to wait.

  We stayed in Columbus for four days last week and ate at Mountain View three times.  Really tasty pulled pork sandwiches - good meat and delicious Old Mule sauce.  You can tell it is family owned - it was clean and neat and the staff friendly, professional and helpful.  You can't visit NC without hitting the local BBQ and this was a treat.

  Excellent pulled pork and homemade chips. A family meal (for 4- our three kids are 10, 12 and 14) perfectly satisfied us, for both portion size and variety. Free drink refills. Quick and friendly service.

  One of my favorite places to eat in Polk County, NC.  They serve amazing bbq sandwiches with flavorful sides.  Their seasoned fries are my favorite!  They stock multiple different flavors of Old Mule bbq sauce, which goes wonderfully with bbq pork sandwich.  I think they even have some homemade desserts for sale!
  
  The interior is nice, and it has good ambiance.  Similar to the feel that you get from Zaxby's, but without all the junk on the walls.
  
  Whenever I'm in NC, I try to eat here, and I recommend it.
