Great Gyro joint! i've lived in the area my entire life and have been eating here since i was young, just a great little dive in Griffith/calumet if you're looking for some mozzarella sticks,or hotdogs, gyros, patty melts, etc. its probably no better than another gyro joint(seeing as how they're usually pretty similar) but it definitely does the trick for me and its remained open and unchanged for years,i recommend it
Review Source:When I come home to Griffith IN from Phoenix this is on my list of places I MUST visit! Get a gyro plate with an extra pita or two because you're gonna need it! They don't skimp on the meat! And it tastes fresh and amazing! Also if you want to taste something a little different try the pizza puffs they are YUMMMMMMY!!!
Review Source:bit into a hotdog and found a 1/2 inch piece of metal. my guess it was a sheer pin of some sorts. Â upon asking for a refund, i was told the young cashier had to call the manager for that and asked if i wanted something else. Â i should have kept the peice of metal and sue'd. Â needless to say i havent eaten there or a hotdog anywhere else since.
Review Source:I don't know about the other poster but this place rocks. It's a small resteraunt but their Gyro's are 10x better than anything I've eaten at so called "upscale" and not so upscale Greek resteraunts in the Bay Area. You usually get 2 pitas but have to order an extra one because they always give you meat enough for 3 (at least). Just a hop from Gary. Next time I'm in town, I'll be back.
Review Source:This place is horrible. Â My boyfriend and I got a gyro plate for $7 (over $9 with an extra cup of sauce) and it only had one pita and barely enough meat to put on it. Â My boyfriend had to go out and get a meal for himself because it wasn't going to be nearly enough food for him. Â A gyro plate is supposed to be for two, not just one person. Â We were ripped off. Â We will never be going there ever again.
