Today were my husband and my first time patronizing this establishment. First off this place was pack with patrons which by the way is a good sign when you're visiting for the very first time. We were very impress with the service and food. We were seated in less than one minute, our order was taken in less than three minutes and we received our food in less than twenty minutes. Now thats impressible to us, today was a good day at Ms Biscuit. We left knowingly were gonna come back. By the way did I mention we where recommended the day before to try this establishment out!
Review Source:This place is one of the reasons why good restaurants can't open on the southside of Chicago.
I go in and stand at the host stand because there is noone to greet me, even the sign says wait to be seated.  Finally the guy comes and seats me. Come to find out the host is also the bus boy, coffee server and gopher.  As I'm sitting there waiting for the waitress of someone to say "I'll be with you in a minute",  I notice how crammed the tables are next to each other. I sat there for about ten minutes watching the waitress's run back and forth trying to accomadate everyone. Finally the waitress comes to my table and says "You ready to order". So I order the French Toast. As I look at her thru the corner of my eye with a smirk on my face, she then says, "Oh, how you doing today?"  I think to myself, "Yeah, Right". Â
As I'm waiting for my order another waitress is taking an order at the table next to me, but the tables are so close, as she's taking their order she is bending over and her big fat ass is all in my face. I would have gave it a pass if it was a nice ass, but it was a big ole' fat sloppy ass with her pants going up the crack. Ughhhhhhh! Now if one more person bumps the chairs in front of me and says "Excuse Me", I'm gonna scream. I know you guys are trying to make money but you could make it a little more comfortable for people to get around.
The French Toast came with eggs and I got bacon.  One thing i noticed is the syrup comes in the small plastic take-out containers.  Really?? you could't get a syrup jar to serve customers. The French Toast was ok, just a little too much cinnamon for me, but they were ok.
The place has too many tables for me, the food is just mediocre and they seem to be understaffed. Thought I'd try it since it's close to my house, but I'll pass on it being a go to breakfast spot.
It's OK. Â I just moved back to the neighborhood. Â It's OK because it's clean and a newer place. Â The food is short-order cooked, but that's OK, too. Â The service is slightly below average. Â Everyone means well, they just don't have an efficient system or a good training program. Â It's the best restaurant in a mile radius. Â If you've got to eat, you've got to eat.
