Awesome place!!!!!! Â This place opened up a couple months ago and I have been frequenting since. Â Aside from the great decor, the drink menu and concoctions are unique and amazing. Â Their dragon fly drink is super good, a perfect combo of passion fruit juice and various alcohols. Â The owners, all college friends, are always there to talk to and are super friendly. Â The bartenders are for the most part pretty good. Â If Brian is working ask for him to make the "lady killer" for you. Â It tastes like a pink lemonade but trust me it has a quite the kick to it. Â A couple nights a week there is a DJ and he rocks out the 80s music.
Review Source:Awesome!! 80's retro decor with the most extensive collection of Simpsons action figures. A table with Bright Lights, a Pacman arcade game and Angry Birds paintings everywhere.
Small but decent beer selection and awesome mixed drinks!! (Like the smurf juice!)
They don't serve food but they will arrange for catering if you are having a big group come.
The place is small but still roomy with a few comfy lounge chairs.
Definitely worth a go if you're in East Meadow!!
The Nest Bar & Lounge.....a small bar in East Meadow that has eclectic yet modern decor and flair. The atmosphere is great, a mellow yet exciting crowd. As small the bar is, the music is well balanced and not ear deafening. Great decor vision that breaks the stereotypical small bar backdrop. Tend to over-pour but nonetheless a very attentive and assiduous staff.
Review Source:Walked in & immediately the crowd just felt awkward. Â I'm not sure how to really describe the crowd but hmm yea. Â Small bar with limited seating area. Â They do have quite the selection of beers but we left after one drink.
I'm sure if you had a group of friends & you wanted the chance to try out many types of beers, the Nest works but there are better options in the area.  It just didn't click for me  :(
Nice little bar, but they could do with a more interesting tap selection. With microbrews being so popular their selection falls far short of satisfying. Also there's no kitchen so theirs no signature treat to show up for either. In the end there's really no reason for me to come here and spend my money.
Review Source:You can't not love an 80s themed bar that has light brights as tables - unless you hate light brights or the 80s. In which case, you would find this place tacky. But, I do not find it tacky, I find it delightful.
The atmosphere is casual but classy - the Nest, despite its name is not a dive nor does it strive to be. The bartenders are upbeat and attentive no matter how large the crowd. More importantly, their drinks stay consistent no matter how busy the bar gets. I know one pet peeve of mine is when you order the same drink twice in a row and the first time, you aren't sure they put alcohol in it and the next, you are certain you will get a dwi if you breath near it - that doesn't happen at the Nest.
Order your drink from Leora, and you will finally realize how your favorite cocktail is supposed to taste.
