New Royal Taj

Food is decent, however with Indian Bistro right down the street, there's really no reason to put up with the extremely rude service from the young guy who does take out. Might be the owner's son who doesn't want to be there...but because of him I won't be back

Royal Taj is one of the best Indian restaurants in Cincinnati. The food is delicious. You have to try their chicken wings (served on buffet), Special chicken tikka masala and the vindaloo... We go there at least once a week.

I visited in May 2013.  Buffet price was below normal at $6.99.  The green chutney was probably the strangest green I have ever seen on a chutney.  Tasted odd and below par.  Food was ok.  Sorry, first judgements come from the basics ....Indian...chutneys and appetizers, Mexican...chips and salsa, Chinese...soups and egg rolls (you get the picture).  If you can't make these appetizing, the rest is likely not going to make the grade.
