I visited in May 2013. Â Buffet price was below normal at $6.99. Â The green chutney was probably the strangest green I have ever seen on a chutney. Â Tasted odd and below par. Â Food was ok. Â Sorry, first judgements come from the basics ....Indian...chutneys and appetizers, Mexican...chips and salsa, Chinese...soups and egg rolls (you get the picture). Â If you can't make these appetizing, the rest is likely not going to make the grade.
Review Source:The only thing Beechmont Ave/ Ohio Pike has more of than auto parts places and banks is Indian Restaurants. So if you're going to give it a shot, you better bring your A game. When it comes to the lunch buffet at least, the A game wasn't  played here.
I stopped in for lunch on a Thursday for the buffet. There was only one person eating there. Perhaps I should have taken that as a sign but the waiter was nice enough if not too dressed down, the bar and restaurant were stylish and the buffet was clean.
As a recent empty nester, I am more than familiar with leftovers.  And many of the items on the buffet tasted like leftovers...the chicken dishes especially, which, from the taste and  red exterior of some of the pieces was clearly leftover Tandoori chicken from another time.  The meatballs were singularly , um, not to my taste. Most of the sauces were weak and watery or over salted, and the saag panner had maybe 4 small pieces of cheese in the whole tray (saag is spinach, paneer is cheese, served as chunks in the dish)- maybe the one other diner already got it all. The full buffet trays and non-existent lunchtime crowd only served to support my theory.
Hey, for 6.99 I don't expect a lot, but I get more choices and better food at the competitors in the neighborhood for the same price. Hopefully it's better at dinner,  my dinner experience at their other location on Beechmont was the exact opposite of this one, and  it's my favorite Indian Restaurant in the area.
