When Wa Toy in Goffstown doesn't have karaoke, this is the place to go. They have food, drinks, pool, and karaoke almost every night (I think), all typical of your Chinese restaurant. I've had mixed experiences, but not so bad as to turn me away forever. And they serve their scorpion bowl in a beer pitcher, with the 151 going right in it. Only drawback is that I've discovered this is where all the bros of Manchester come to hang. While they may be fun to watch, their drunk singing can get a little old fast.

This place is a blast they have something for everyone.
Poker, Karaoke, great food and people watching...
The food is amazing...best Chicken and Beef terriyaki and the drinks are bar far the best in NH...They have scorpion bowls in pitchers to share and so many beer choices. I heard they are bringing back Trivia and will be starting Open Mic night, oh and they have pool tables too...Just a great place all around, I highly recommend it.

It looks like there are two categories of people who go to the Yee. Those who go for drinking and entertainment and those who go for the food (that's me). In the past 25 years, I've been to dozens of Chinese restaurants in Manchester, Derry, Goffstown, and Merrimac. Most have been OK overall with their good points and bad points.

The Yee Dynasty has been consistently good on most items over the years. Their egg rolls are the best I have had. The chicken fingers (cooked right, not too much batter), chicken and beef teriyaki, kung pao chicken, General Gao's chicken, beef and peppers, and fried rice are all very good. Their chow mein and boneless ribs are OK and not as good as some other places (Jade Dragon and Aloha have better chow mein).

I usually go for the luncheon buffet because it's less crowded, the service is excellent and atmosphere more relaxing. I have gone several times on a Saturday night and didn't like it. It was noisey, service was slower and not as attentive, and there was a more hectic atmosphere. A few times there have been screaming kids, running around out of control, but I see that in other places on Saturday nights as well.

Go to the Friday or Saturday luncheon buffet (more selection on those days) and you can't go wrong.

When I lived in New Hampshire, my family and I would go to the Yee a few times a month for the Saturday buffet. The buffet had the best egg rolls, chicken fingers, lo mein, and chicken and beef teriyaki. Their red sweet and sour sauce is the best I've ever had.

I live in Washington D.C. now, and when I say that I can't find anything better here, I mean that I every time I go back to NH, I pay the Yee a visit. The Chinese food around me now just doesn't even compare. I've tried a dozen Chinese places, and I still can't find anything nearly as good. The beef teriyaki other places is always too salty, and the chicken fingers are mostly coating.

Try the Yee's Saturday buffet, and get a ladle of the red sauce.

Having lived in Manchester for the better part of 10 years, I had often heard stories about "The Yee". Mostly they were centered around college kids going there for some underage drinking and bad karaoke. Well, I've finally been able to experience the Yee  for myself.

It was a Friday night, and I walked in around 9:30 PM to meet up with a friend who was planning on meeting with some of his friends. The decor, ambiance, and crowd made me realize I had been transported back to the mid-80's.

The karaoke was horrible, although at times it approached the "so bad it's funny" levels, which is entertaining.

The food looked almost neon as dishes of fried, processed "Chinese" was walked around the dining room.

The crowd... yikes. I don't know where to begin. Almost no one was under the age of 30, unless they simply had been living some rough years. There was a constant cycle of people migrating to the front door to contribute to the ever-present cloud of cigarette smoke. The average BMI of the place couldn't be under 40, and I now understand why Wal-Mart keeps stocking Jorts, because nearly everyone was wearing a pair.

Avoid this place at all costs - there is no redeeming factors. The front door should carry the same warning as Dante's Hell: "Abandon all hope, ye' who enter here."

Huge menu!!! Great food and fast service. They have a huge dinning section and a huge bar section.  Karaoke every night and huge draft selections. It has a great mix of people if u like to laugh and people watch.

So....I showed up at the New Yee Dynasty last weekend with with my GF and a pretty serious buzz.  I have no idea what our rationale was for choosing this place but here we are.

My thoughts were to have a slow meal of heavy food to soak up the booze, take my time, and get rid of this damn buzz so that I can drive home safely.

    Here's what happened:

We stumble into the place, cozy up to the bar, and immediately order some beer.  I figure that we're going to be here for awhile so one beer won't hurt.  I'll sober up soon enough.  I'm no dummy!

There is some sort of pool tournament going on in the background.  These people seemed pretty serious about their pool as some of the people playing had those silly 'pool gloves' on.  Everybody had their own fancy pool sticks.  People were clapping at some of the shots.  I guess there goes any hopes of me playing pool as both of the tables look like they'll be busy all afternoon.  Not that I really cared about that.  This mission wasn't about pool.

I know that I get loud when I'm buzzed so I make a silent pact with myself not to say anything about the amount of rednecks and the Nascar race on the TV.  I succeed on that promise and don't get my ass kicked!

I keep to my original plan and only have that one beer.

Based upon the friendly bartenders recommendation we ordered ONE plate of Dynasty something.  It was a HUGE amount of your typical Americanized Chinese food piled high over a white-ish pile of fried rice.  PERFECT for my mission.

The food was greasy, salty, and yummy!  I put on some extra salt just to make sure.  That is my hazy memory of the food.  Nothing stood out except that it was perfect for getting rid of my buzz.  Just the way it was supposed to be.

There was too much food in this one order for the two of us.  We took our sweet time eating and while my GF had a few more drinks than I did we left eventually with me sobered up and fully ready to bomb up the highway home.

I only do takeout here because I hate the inside and i only get one thing: chicken Lo mein, its delicious. I'm sure other things are good too, just haven't ventured off to try anything else yet.

I don't know why folks are trashing this place?? It's your typical American chop chop Chinese food. What separates this place from other chop chop restaurants is the huge very strong drinks the cleanliness of the place and the very good service. Yes, it's greasy food loaded with msg, but hey, that's what American Chinese food is all about... Enjoy!

Some dishes are OK and others really aren't good. Quick hit for Fried Rice If you must.

I'll put it this way, the only reason I would go here is to ingest large scorpion bowls (out of pitchers, not the normal bowls since they only have one or two of those) and to listen to people sing bad kareoke.

The food is really greasy and really not good and the atmosphere is exactly what you expect from a chinese food restaurnat that doubles as a kareoke bar.

I will say this for it though, it is cheap!

I usually don't write reviews but this place has me HEATED!

My family and I get take out at Yee 2 or 3 times a month and I always pick it up.  The food is always acceptable at best, there are many better options such as Aloha but 10 extra minutes away.

Tonight after a long day the wife wanted Yee but I was exhausted and called it for delivery for the first time from here.  I was told 45 minutes and I was able to calm our 4 children for a little while letting them know dinner would be at 6 (1 hour later).  At 6 I called and was told the card number I gave them was wrong and that they tried to call me but someone answered and said there was nobody by that name at that number.  After having them read it back they got the card number and phone number wrong, and believe me...I am very easy to understand, the language barrier was not on my end.

Not very happy but with starving children begging me, I drove down to get it.  When I arrived I spoke to the girl who took the order and suggested maybe she should not be taking phone orders if she can't write down the proper numbers.  The manager was there and I explained what happened and my situation only to be greeted with lack of empathy and charged full price.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I VISIT YEE. I will also spread the word to everyone I know.

BTW:  The food was mediocre as usual....no surprise there.  Aloha here we come, the extra 10 minute drive is worthwhile!

The New Yee Dynasty is just like the original Yee Dynasty. Their food is reasonably priced and you get a lot for your money; it can also be greasy to the point where I often feel ill if I'm not careful about how much I eat.

The two things they do very well are hot & sour soup and crab rangoons. I'll go out of my way for either, and those two items get 5 stars versus the normal menu rating of 3 stars.

The lounge is good for drinks. In fact, if you want to get your drink on, two from this place will have you on your face.  Don't forget to bring a DD!!  Safety first.

the great thing about this place is the atmosphere, its not your typical chinese restaurant. they have a karaoke bar which is always busy on saturday and friday nights.
the food is average takeout style food and i would recommend the crab rangoon most
    service is friendly too!

The New Yee Dynasty has a large cocktail lounge with full bar, several tables & booths, and two pool tables. The main dining room has several booths & tables with Chinese artwork and fixtures.

They offer the traditional Chinese fare (Cantonese, Polynesian, & Szechuan) including luncheon specials, combination plates and familly dinners. A small buffet for lunch ($6.75) & dinner ($8.95/$9.95 Fri-Sat) is offered in the main dining room. The buffet features 17 basic items such as lo mein, fried rice, egg roll, crab rangoon, lobster sauce, chicken & peanuts, chicken & broccoli, fried chicken wings, chicken teriyaki, spare ribs, hunan shrimp, egg drop soup, hot & sour soup, & bread.

I was seated in the main dining room and given complementary hot tea and ice water. I decided to try the food on the dinner buffet. The hot & sour soup was spicy. The buffet food was very greasy and sitting around for a while, the quality not very good but very filling. If you want fresh food, then order from the regular menu instead of the buffet. The service was attentive.
