Oh the Nile. Ok so pretty solid hookah selection with good quality tobacco  (starbuzz) and mesquite REAL coals! Listen kids, instant lights should only be used at home and never at a hookah bar, this place is authentic.

The downside would have to be the bathrooms, the Nile is the equivalent to a dive bar, not much effort on appearance but still a GREAT quality product.

I went to this place yesterday for the first time after hearing about it from a family friend. Usually I go to Anaheim for hookah, but wanted to test drive a place closer to me.
The hookah and service were fine. It was only $10 for the hookah.
This place was TERRIBLY junky on the inside. It looks like its full of germs. I sat on a thirty year old or more dusty couch. The bathroom's toilet was clean, but the walls had tons of graffiti. Peeling paint. Not impressed. It needs a face lift.
The hookah was yummy, but I do not see myself going back because of the terrible ambiance and fear of catching a skin infection from one of the couches.
Looks like I'll keep driving to Anaheim!

Well, I've been here a couple times with friends and it's been okay. It's pretty cheap in comparison to most places here in the IE, usually pay $10 per hookah, which is alright. You can sit inside or outside, there are different areas such as a lounge with couches, some sort of game table in the back, and the outside is pretty nice at night. The problem is that it's large and there aren't a lot of people working and so I'm often time waiting for coals which is completely unacceptable. I was given a hookah and then waited 20 minutes for coals, and then had to wait an hour and a half to get my coals turned since they don't give you tongs to move it yourself like most places. The people there don't give off a great vibe, but it's not a great area, so I can't blame them. Even thought we were outside, people were mocking us because my group and I are naturally very loud (and my boyfriend is half deaf and I was on his bad side, so I had to be louder). The bathroom is decent but clean, most of the time. I think it's okay.

I'd give this place 4 stars for its hookah and good service. They're good about replacing the coals in a timely manner and checking in with you. I wish they had a better drinks menu (last time they gave me lipton tea, boo) to compliment the hookah.

Anyway, I had to knock down a full star because of the outdoor seating area. They've upgraded their outdoor furniture which definitely helps the ambiance (they used to have pretty dilapidated furniture). If they were to clean up the surrounding area, for example put away the mops and buckets filled with brown water into the janitor's closet, light some candles, and get rid of the bathroom smell, it'd definitely draw more people in.

The Nile has fair prices. You can be indoors or outdoors. The hookahs are single hose, way better than multiple in my opinion. Plus, sharing is caring. If you think its too harsh then just ask anyone walking around to remove some coals or fix your bowl. It's a cool place to chill after a few beers since it's pretty quiet. I go for the hookah and not the service but occasionaly we will talk to the staff for a bit. Don't expect excellent customer service though.

My favorite hookah lounge in the I.E. (and I've been to several).

My boyfriend and I love coming here, for several reasons. First of all, the service is amazing. The owner (I'm assuming?) is really nice and let's you smell the flavors before you decide. The guys wandering around with coals are also friendly and helpful, and come around often, never leaving you high and dry (like some places). Next, the variety of flavors, mixes and house blends is just incredible. The tobacco is top of the line, too, so you don't have to worry about that queasy feeling you can get after smoking cheap tobacco. The prices are decent, pretty much standard: we usually pay $10-12 for one hookah for the two of us, and we usually choose a blend.

What do I love most about the Nile, though? The atmosphere is AMAZING! The place is large, 3 or 4 sections, each with their own feeling. The back room is dark, loud and romantic, full of plush couches and chairs. The front of the lounge is a more well lit, quieter cafe-life setting with tables and chairs. In between is a large patio courtyard type thing, with tables and chairs and a few couches. It is decorated with plants, and there is a big fountain right in the middle. The music is great, too, the in house (I'm assuming) DJ plays a variety of fun, sexy tunes.

All in all, if you're looking for a cool but chill Saturday night out full of great vibes and sexy opportunities, and don't want to drive too far, go to the Nile Cafe!

Oh, and looks can be deceiving: this little gem is tucked into the corner of a strip mall off the 215, just past the Fiesta Village... check it out anyways, you'll be surprised.

    :D

I've been going to this place of 9 years now. Hookah is always consistent. Service is great if you are a regular like I am I suppose. Not to loud like a lot of other hookah bars in the area they stuck with the traditional feel of a hookah bar. A place where you can go and have a conversation instead of somewhere where there is a loud ass Dj and drunk people all over.

The hookah is good and well priced. The staff is alright... they could be mean, they could be nice... mostly mean, haha. Okay, enough of me being nice.

What I really wanted to say ...............seriously, the bathrooms are disgusting!!!! Felt like throwing up when I saw the women's bathroom. I used to come here alot but damn... please clean the bathrooms!!! YUCKY!!! I don't really want to come here after my experience which I am not going to go into detail... yaaaa. Disgusting. I can't go here anymore, now that I think of the establishment as a whole. I rather spend the extra $10 and do more driving for a better hookah place.

This is a hookah bar that serves  Layalina/ Al Amir, and starbuzz hookah. It's a college setting with outside seating and inside seating. The outside has murals on the wall done by some mediocre painter. The inside has couches that are very dirty and tables you can sit at. The service is slow at times and if the hookah tastes good or not its a hit or miss situation. The workers are disrespectful and will openly give you an attitude.
but... i still go there everyday... horrible

p.s. free refills from monday through thursday... thats probably why i am always here
