Great, fun, casual, festive atmosphere. Buffalo burger was very good, fries were excellent and service was super friendly. They don't make their salad dressings in house but they were fine and the server did discourage us from the turkey burger saying it wasn't made in house and she gets a lot of complaints. Â Order a buffalo burger or another sandwich and enjoy the cool bar. Didn't see the rooftop or hear the music, we were too early.
Review Source:Best buffalo burgers, period. Â So damn good. Â Â The neon sign claiming to have the best buffalo burgers lured us into this place. Â And it was no lie. Â We split the traditional one, no cheese. Â The homemade buffalo chips, the bun, the buffalo burger all are sensational. Â The service is a little sketchy during the day, I'll leave it at that.
Review Source:My husband and I were looking for a place to eat on Main Street in late May. The weather was beautiful but a little chilly so when we walked by the No Name Saloon and saw a sign for "heated rooftop patio" Â we were sold. The downstairs part of the saloon was very lively considering it was off-season. The upstairs was a little more quite. They have a separate indoors bar upstairs and the patio as well. We sat under the heat lamps on the patio and I was perfectly content. This place has a great view of Main street.
We took it easy and had a few drinks (hubby got some local beers on draft and I got cranberry juice). Then after practically salivating over the menu and looking at what other customers were getting, we decided to order the Red Bell Buffalo Burger (which was juicy and grilled to perfection) and Chicken Wrap (I know not the most exciting item in the world--but it was good and light--I stole some of my the side-sauce that came with the burger to add more flavor--and it was delish).
You know how when you visit a small town that can be a bit touristy, and everyone says there's "that one locals bar" you have to visit...but it's really just a kitschy tourist trap?
Well good news! The No Name really is that locals bar, and it's not total kitsch.
I grew up in Park City, but the funny thing is, I didn't go drinking at No Name until after I was visiting since I moved to Denver and settled here. That's because I wasn't of legal drinking age when I live in PC, and I was goody two shoes, so I didn't have a fake. By the way, per regular UT BS, prepare to have your ID scanned at the door. Not a big deal, but they're quite serious about making sure you're really 21 or older.
Inside, you'll find a cast of local characters. During ski season, in the late afternoon and into the evening, you'll see plenty of folks in skiing and snowboarding gear with goggle tans either drinking PBR or the best craft beer you can get in UT. The space inside is quite big, with both a downstairs and an upstairs.
During the summer, their rooftop patio can't be beat-it offers cool views of Main Street and, of course, the gorgeous mountains all around. They have heaters outside, so you can still enjoy those views on a chilly summer night.
The beer selection is some of the best you'll get in PC, maybe even the whole state. Just know that tap beer, per MORE UT BS, can only be 3.2%-if you want the big stuff, you gotta go for the bottled beer, which is still perfectly good.
The No Name is a great local watering hole with decent priced drinks and authentic local life-if you're looking for a good spot in old town PC, look no further!
I am trying to be as honest as possible about this review... you can split it into 2 categories and get 2 different number sets...
The food: 3-stars. Â I experienced their famous chips, jalapeno poppers (which I was told were the best in the city), and some sort of pepper-infused burger. Â The service was great, the wait time was nearly non existent for the food- the kitchen when I walked by it looked clean. Â But- the chips were merely kettle chips... the poppers for being the best, were in fact very average (more than likely the same every other bar fries up from a frozen bag), and the burger was tasty but non-unique. Â In other words, I was eating average bar food- nothing more. Â I would again, and down a Utah-law "baby brew" (3.2 abv beer) with it all...
If you are going to just the bar aspect of this place, its good for that. Â Go, drink up, meet new friends... have a great time. Â The atmosphere is cool, the outdoor space on the roof is superb. Â If I am in Park City again, I will be back.
Best bar in Park City. Â Five stars for atmosphere: Â the place is all old, weatherbeaten wood, big roaring fireplace, lots of character. Â A portion of the clientele is old and weatherbeaten too, but in a good way, a way that makes it look like they've spent the past 20 years outdoors, and have only just come in from the elements. Â It always seems to be hopping, full of a mix of skiers and friendly locals. Â More like three stars for beer: Â they've got plenty of good choices in bottles, but only five on tap. Â Haven't had much to eat here, though the wings are good. Â For me, the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes.
Review Source:This place has a good post ski vibe to it. Come in and hydrate with water, beer, and a few snacks. Parking is easy in the nearby lots or you can maybe find a spot on the street. The staff is attentive and they have a nice beer selection in bottles (had a 9% beer). We just had a couple of snacks to eat and it wasn't hard finding a table to sit at.
The buffalo wings were standard but the house made chips are really good. I read on another review here to get the aioli instead of the salsa to dip. I think this is probably a good idea.
Will probably come back here in the future.
Ignore the crowds and noise in what appears to be a run-of-the-mill après-ski bar, grab a seat on the roof deck, corral a server, and order a burger.  I expected something greasy, overcooked, and mediocre, given the volume this place is doing, but was wowed!  Flavorful meat, perfectly to temperature, with yummy toppings.  The house-made chips are a great side (skip the so-so salsa and dip in the chipotle aioli that comes with your burger instead!).
Review Source:It was ok.
My Jack & coke was actually closer to a 2-Jacks-splash-o'coke which I would never complain about...if it came in a bigger glass/cup/mug/shoe. This was a little plastic cup and I was just not terribly enthused.
However, I liked the decor and everywhere else wanted us to wait another 2 hours before they served food, so we sat and ordered a couple of city famous (is it world famous? I can't remember really, it was just that unmemorable) No Name Burgers (1/2 lb patty topped w/ a heap of cream cheese and fresh sliced jalapenos, chipotle mayo, lettuce, and tomato):
1) Stale bread
2) Cold stale bread
3) Cold burger??! How did that happen?
Not sure how you can make a blah tasting cream cheese and jalapeno burger (served with burnt kettle chips and watery salsa...*sigh*) but that's what I found there. I was really hoping for more. It didn't taste "bad" but it isn't anything I'd look forward to ordering again. Especially not for $12 a burger.
They DO have some really nice/interesting (if a little overpriced) items in their gift "shop" at the back of the bar, and the bathroom is fun to look at.
This place is a cash cow in town. Â I come to Park City about once a year and every time we head down to main street there's a crowd at No Name. Â Last night there was no exception...in spite of that I always seemed to get a drink within a few minutes. Â The bartender was fast and courteous. I haven't had the food there yet so I can't comment on that quite yet.
Review Source:Love the "lack of name" as the name. Loved the interior.. lots of fun, kinda makes you want to experience a good old fashioned saloon brawl. However, service came with attitude. The girl who served us seemed like she hated her life and us because we were currently in her life. We ordered the Signature "No Name" Burger and it was sub par. The bread was stale, the salsa it came with was practically water and the cream cheese was just slapped onto the cold dry bun. Hands down the worst Cream Cheese/Jalapeno Burger I have ever had. Cheeky Monk in Denver blows them out of the water. No Name would be a 2 on the cream cheese/ jalapeno burger scale where Cheeky Monk in Denver is a 10.
Review Source:Went here on a Tuesday night after hitting the slopes all day. Â Place was busy, but we managed to grab a table right away. Â Server was kind of slow to come over and get our drink orders. Â My boyfriend asked what the drink specials were and we were disappointed to find out there are no drink specials because it's Utah.
Beer was good and a reasonable price, but it took a while before the server came back to get our food orders. Â It seemed like they needed more servers because she was always running by.
I ordered the Pork Carnitas Tacos and the pork was so so good. Â They must have been cooking it since the day before because it feel apart in my mouth and was nice and juicy. Â The buffalo chips were a nice touch and were very crisp. Â
My boyfriend ordered the No Name Burger. Â No Name Saloon uses a buffalo patty which I think tends to be a bit drier than hamburger, but has a nice flavor. Â The burger was delicious and didn't seem dry to me at all. Â
The atmosphere of the restaurant is neat. Â And they have an old snowmobile hanging from the ceiling along with a lot of other cool memorabilia. Â It was slightly loud in there but we could still have a conversation.
Overall, I think the service is lacking but my tacos made up for it.
Restaurant was not too busy, but the service was terrible. They really gave the impression of not caring at all about their customers.
I ordered my burger with no mayo and the server confirmed my order. Of course, the burger came with mayo. I don't typically like to make a big deal out of these things, so I let it go and scraped it off.
To make matters worse, my wife's order of fish and chips didn't come out when the other 3 people in our party got their food. Someone obviously forgot....it happens. But after waiting 10-15 minutes and seeing the food sitting in the window, we looked around for our server. What was she doing? She was over at the bar filling out a football pool for the Super Bowl. We had to make her aware of the food sitting there in the window. No apology at all from the server for my wife getting her food as everyone wrapped up their meal. We still tipped some....but if anyone deserved a $0 on the tip line it was her. If I were the owner, employees such as her would be fired immediately.
We will not be going back or recommending this place. There are much better things to do with your $$.
Nice casual crowd for after the slopes. Â The waitresses shirts say "because everywhere else just sucks"...should say "because everywhere sucks too"
Nice casual crowd for after the slopes. Â Great place for beer and crowd watching. Â Ambiance is an old saloon with tons of irrelevant junk up on. The walls...think TGIFridays but with a 1970's snowmobile on the ceiling.
Onion rings are made fresh but came out cold and tasted burnt.
Jalapeno poppers were cold, but had good flavor...too bad they tasted like they just came out of the fridge!
Buffalo burger is what they're known for, but it had a gamier than usual taste. Â I've had buffalo at many different places and never has it tasted gamey like this. Â Plus, the burger was thin and overly dry despite being medium rare. Â Couldn't detect any seasoning or additives in the meat at all, I had to add salt to mine. Â Oh, and the burgers were luke warm on the outside while the chips were ice cold...the waitress explained they were sitting in the window a bit befoe she got to them when she plopped them down infront of us, then just left with no offer to remedy the situation.
Service gets 1 star...we finished our cold apps and burgers before we got our beer we ordered. Â No more crowded than usual and no excuse for such slow or incompitent service. Â I asked for a water 3x's before the waitress finally brought me one (40 min into us sitting at the table).
The one burger was ice cold. Â We sent it back, the waitress had to argue with the manager about sending it back to the kitchen (next to our table)...instead of giving us a new medium rare burger, they threw our (1 bite into) cold burger back on the grill, returning it to us well done. Â The icing on the cake was waiting 20 minutes and then having to walk to the bar to get the bill from the waitress so we could finally leave.
This place gets packed! Silly packed! But what an atmosphere! It's like a bar you come to in a small city, and everyone knows one another. You meet up with your friends, good music playing, conversations going around you -- you know it's going to be a good night.
Prices for drinks were rather fair. $5.xx for a redbull/vodka I think it was? Â It gets a 4/5 in my books :D
Stopped in here yesterday to throw down a few beers. Â Place was pretty crowded and a local couple said I could join them. Â Sat down, had a few beers (did not eat, but the food looked good, especially the onion rings) and enjoyed Dave and Lisa's company.
I think what made my experience better was the fact that locals were very friendly. Â They even invited me to a party Saturday night in Deer Valley!
Enjoy!
The No Name is a great spot in PC. Â Super old building with exposed brick and artifacts throughout! Â I remember when I moved here someone told me that it was a tourist spot but to me it's where tourists wanna hang with the locals. Â Since they re-did the interior, The No Name has really come into it's own. Â No longer cramped. Â They have a great lounging area by the front door with a wood buring fire place, very cozy! Â They also have a kick ass shuffleboard table, that's free of charge mind you! Â Service is hit and miss, it's a very busy place most of the time. Â Great beer selection and the menu is decent, food is great!! Â The upstairs is a nice place to grab a beer and hang out on a nice day or if it's snowing!!! Â I will always return to the No Name, because you get what you expect and I always have a good time there. Â Make it a stop while your in Pc!
Review Source:I was a little hesitant to try this place based on it's fairly average Yelp rating; however I was there with my parents who had been before and said it was really good, and I didn't want to seem like a know-it-all-food-snob coming in from the big city. Let this be a life lesson to me, Mom and Dad are always right. Â Or at least they were here. Â
The service was GREAT, the waitress was personable and fun, teasing us while providing excellent service. Â I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and fries, my boyfriend and dad got the fish and chips, and there were two chicken paninis as well. Â Every bite of EVERYTHING was fantastic. Â The chicken panini was probably the big winner, I was LOVING my sandwich till I had a bit of the panini and then i was remoresful and contemplative of all the wrong life choices I had ever made, most offensively NOT ordering that panini. Â GET. THE. FRIES. Â I know they have these buffalo chips which are pretty good, but they are nothing compared to the Fries. Â
Now I'm hungry. Â Will definitely go back to this place.
Fun time at No Name Saloon. Â Cold draft beers. Â Found this place when a 'local' stumbled out the door. Â I asked him how the food was and he said, ' I don't eat the food, it cuts into my drinking money'! Â Ended up here a few nights apre ski and hiking up the hill on Main Street. Â For a fun time, check this place out. Â Their chips are good too! Â "Don't Feed the Locals". Â Great time!
Review Source:I liked this place. Â Funky decor - mismatched chandeliers, motorcycle hanging from the ceiling. Â And I loved my burger - the "No Name" burger, subbed with a veggie burger. Â Their homemade chips were very tasty and my friends raved about the pulled pork.
It was tricky to get a table for our party of eight, but once we got one, the waitress was fast and efficient. Â
Definitely limited vegetarian options, but I would totally eat here again.
Haute burgers, well trained and very accompanying bar keeps. For a few seasons now, I've been here every Sunday. I have no intention of stopping.
If you're into the scene, and you play your cards right, there's a good chance you could start up a conversation with a true-to-life pro skier/snowboarder here. There's a reason that when those fools come to ride Wasatch, they stop at No Name for post shred libations.
Mainly a bar atmosphere. With bar food. A little overpriced and a little underwhelming.
...But the rooftop patio is a plus.
They were busy, so service was okay, but not great. I had the Grilled Chicken Panini ($10.25), while my husband tried the Bacon Blue Cheeseburger ($11.75). All was edible, but not amazing.
No name for a reason? Maybe just not my style.
This is a beautiful bar, you couldn't ask for a better and more authentic bar. Â The bathrooms are gorgeous and large. Â The ceiling is rows of brick arches, the building is 100 years old. Â This is the best bar in Park City in my opinion.
The buffalo burger was excellent. Â Fish tacos were just ok. Â Service was great at the bar but iffy at the table. Â They make a real greyhound with fresh grapefruit, it is just amazing.
You gotta go.
Oh No Name Saloon. You tend to complete my Park City nights.
Drinks aren't the cheapest but they're not that expensive either. I think it's pretty on par for Park City. Their bar food is good. I've only eaten there a handful of times but I've never been disappointed. Besides, they have chili cheese fries. Which they serve with a roasted Serrano pepper. Yeah. Do you really need to know anything else?
I particularly love their upstairs patio. The décor is kind of rustic with porcelain toilets and wheelbarrows filled with plants and flowers. They even have mint growing in little pots on the table. Yeah sometimes I eat it or put it in my drink.
No Name is great for people watching. Not because people are doing interesting things but because...well how do I say this? What's the term the kids use these days? This bar has a lot of talent. What I mean to say is there are a lot of attractive people. So there's that if that tickles your fancy. I was told that a local friend always brings her out of town single friends here because it's sure to end in a make out with a handsome dude. So there's that too.
So whether you're looking for eye candy, a good time with friends, good bar food, or a make out session, you can't go wrong with No Name Saloon.
Just came in here for beers at the end of the night so not sure about the food.. But the bar itself is pretty awesome, the decor and atmosphere is well fitting for the location. I thought they mix together the old with new pretty well.
We came here on a Thursday night and it was packed, but our party of 6 was able to find a table with little trouble.
Meh- maybe this place is more happening at nights. Â For a Friday afternoon, I found it to be quite overpriced and uneventful. Â However, the bacon blue cheeseburger with buffalo meat tasted wonderful on an empty stomach! Â The chips and homemade salsa also gave a kick to the meal (though, next time, I would probably just order fries as my side).
My friend got the chicken wrap. Â She commented that it was a good wrap, but definitely not worth $10. Â I'd attribute the price premium on the location and call it even.
Regardless, this place has a butt-load of character. Â With their own fireplace, apparel, flat screen TVs, and shuffle board, I would love to revisit again on a Friday/Saturday night.
This place rocks. Plain & Simple.
When you enter you are hit right away with a warmth from this beautiful wood burning stove. The next thing you notice is wall to wall (actually floor to ceiling) vintage memorabilia and folk art. The highlight probably the monster moose head mounted on the wall. Sorry PETA, but it's impressive.
The first floor contains a long main bar, smaller back bar, and ample high top seating. All with decent views of multiple flat screens showing sporting events as well as a steady diet of dudes & dudettes getting rad on Fuse TV. The next thing I noticed impressed me. It may tell you something about me. Either I'm very easily impressed, or just a very finicky bar fly....probably both. All the stools at the bar & high tops have contoured backs & they SWIVEL! It is great. Never again do you have to wonder what is so exciting over your shoulder, or miss the server that you have been trying to hail down for a round of Jaeger Bombs. The world is your oyster when your bar stool swivels.
In the background is a nonstop flow of rock classics. Good music seems to be a theme in Park City bars, and this place is no exception. The bar is busy with patrons no matter what time you are there, and the servers move quickly to keep everyone well fed and served.
The food is what you would expect, and not expect. They serve bar classics such as burgers, wings, onion rings, etc. However, none of it was greasy. It all seemed fresh to order, and there is good reason burgers are their specialty. Made with buffalo, they are absolutely delicious. I'd recommend the bacon bleu. Buffalo is a tricky meat to cook as it can dry out very easily. Not here. Juicy and delicious. It is a little unorthodox, but they serve chips & salsa with most sandwiches. Strange that the chips are not tortilla, but house made potato chips. The salsa, also made in house, was a very authentic Southwestern salsa. I loved it, but did miss a good side order of french fries with my burger. We also had onion rings here which were really tasty. The golden fried rings were plump and the onions had a sweet taste, so you know they were fresh.
The bar has a wide variety of typical large brewery beers mixed in with some great local beers. Try the Cutthroat IPA or Polygamy Porter. Both good beers, not to mention the Polygamy is worth it just for the label. Could be best ever. They also carry a very tasty cider, and all for about $4.50 a piece. Very reasonable pricing all around actually.
You come to this place because it's an institution on Main Street, but you come back for the great food, drink, and friendly service.
