Here is a Chico classic...it has the sights, smells, and sounds of a rowdy good time. The best part is there is never a cover, and the drinks are always cheap and strong. The staff are friendly and fit the environment, the vibe is dirty punk rock/metal...which means you are going to have a god time.
Review Source:Smells like puke, and if your unfortunate enough to move towards the back of the bar, the men's restroom either didn't have a door or it was propped open, I could see the urinals.
Even with a few adios mf'er drinks, I don't need to see a stranger's wang when I'm trying to have a fun night out with friends. Â
I'm not sure if seeing the urinals or the wretched smell week old puke is worse. Â You can smell the place from outside, I don't go in it anymore but I can still smell it walking to Kinders next door.
As a fellow reviewer before me mentioned this is definitely a great place to begin the night out on the town. The drinks are huge. Think almost slurpee cup sized drinks. Tons of ice, yet tons of alcohol as well.
Rumor has it new owners have taken over and I have only been there once since the switch. I still had a fun time, the bartenders were fast, the drinks strong and the music louder than necessary. All the components to a successful bar!
Did I mention cheap? Cause its insane how many drinks you could get for $20.
The Broiest bar this side of Bro town... but i cant help but love it.
The drink specials are fantastic, and this really is the best bar to start the night. Later on, it gets so packed and the music gets so loud that its nowhere near as fun. But when its moderately packed, and moderately loud, its the best bar in town. The jukebox is what makes it so good, in my opinion. Packed full of punk rock, reggae, and just the right classics... its good stuff. The new jukebox is a whore (took my dollar bills way too many times) and i hate it, but it still has great tunes. If you arent a fan of huge group sing alongs to Pennywise - Bro Hymn, Journey, and NOFX.... you probably arent at the right bar.
Its cheap, its divey, its got great music, and they have Anchor Steam on tap, and you probably wont see many douchebags with spray on tans and spikey east coast hair. Givin' a 4.
One of my favorite bars in Chico when I attended. Where else can you find some good people wanting to have fun, some metal/punk/rock on the jukebox and some cartoon-ish decor on the walls. Forget your cigs? They have that also!! The only down side was the place smells a little bad, but after a couple drinks who notices anyway?
Review Source:This place is the first bar I ever drank at in the US. so it has a special spot in my heart. altho the first drink i got was a corona and as i was trying to stick the lime in the bottle it slid out of my hand and crashed on the ground.
the ads for this place always had a lot of absurdly muscley men and giant breasted women.
i always used to come here with my friends and play that photo-match-up game on the computer, with the half naked girls with 80s hair.
the bouncers were pretty bro-ish. a coupla alcoholic girls i know used to hook up with one of em. being bouncer at a college bar is a very good job for sleeze-bags. on my birthday I took a blow job shot from between that guys legs.
