this place sucks. even the bar.
went on a saturday night and tried ordering a few beers, the lady just looked at us for several minutes before taking our order.she wasnt even busy how rude!!

also played black jack and i didnt know the rules that if you bust less than the dealer you dont lose.
i asked that dude y didnt i lose my money and he said because im nice and i said seriously and he replied yes.

i ended up giving all the money he gave me back as a tip because i felt sorry for him.
after i playing i figured out no ones that nice.. and he lied
    i want my money back.

those people are the type that likes to take other peoples credit.those are the type of people. shame on them and this place

Best Poker spot in San Diego.  Free food if you play the big games 5/5 no limit or 10/10 no limit.  Food is suprisingly good! Quality of play is always getting better so play cautious!

I'm not a gambling man, they have all kinds of card games if you are, I enjoy watching the games on the TV in the lounge, prime rib, lobster, pork or koby beef sliders, football and happy hour draft beer, Sierra Nevada, I'm a fan.

I've only eaten here once but their food is pretty amazing from a small casino like this.  Their berry smoothie the best casino smoothie I ever had. Guacamole tastes excellent and very fresh.   It sucks I live so far away to come here regularly to enjoy all the goodies.
Btw the bathrooms are pretty clean.

After leaving Valley View Casino, the way back up to Huntington Beach, there is Ocean 11 Casino on the 5! Yay! Stop by...Saturday night

    - 2 Black jack tables. one $5 and the other $10.
    - No bust black jack. If you get a 23-25, and the dealer gets the same as you, you push
    - If you get a 22 or 26, automatic bust
    - Buster Bet: $1 to $100. 2 to 1 up to 200 to 1.
    - 50 cents to play. As you raise your bet, the ante becomes a $1, and then higher..
    - Play from 11am to Midnight on Saturday. If you get a blackjack, DING DING! free steak and lobster dinner :)
    - Come here to play poker. Drive 30 more miles to Valley View to play blackjack
    - Just like Commerce and Hawaiian Gardens. Less crowded.

This is a great spot for playing poker and poker only. Aside from poker they do not have that many table games or any slots machines for those who do not want to buy in for a good poker game.
I come here often and play no limit holdem but they do offer Ohama, Limit and No Limit games and different buy in amounts so there is a game to please everyone.

The staff including the dealers are very nice and I have actually made a lot of money here compared to the other Indian Casinos nearby. I like the action on the 1/1 no limit games.

The food here is very cheap at around $4 or $5 for a big meal and the beers are not bad either. I recommend this place to everyone. You will be hooked and looking for another good action whenever you are in the area next.

After looking online for a great weekday tournament spot, I found this place. I have driven past it many times on the 5, thinking it kinda looked like a dump from the outside. Boy was I wrong!
Inside the place is immaculate. it is ginormous, with around 100ish total tables (may need a source for the exact number?)
The tournaments they run are priced well for a hobby player ($40-75 depending on the day)
The staff were awesome, and we're quick to react and resolve when a a couple people got into a loud dispute over a hand at a neighboring table.
Even though I only walked away even that day, I will definitely be back.

I am not a gambler at all so I'm taking off a star but I do love to drink and eat so I go here for the booze, food and hang out with friends. This is my default place to eat when I want to eat out and can't decide where to go. Ocean's Eleven has a Sports Bar that serves great food.

The menu has a variety of choices from Asian, Mexican and American dishes. My favorite is the Kobe beef ocean sliders with grilled onions and cheese. Everything on the menu are at reasonable prices. They have a full bar and happy hour twice a day everyday.

The Sports Bar side has a nice and calm atmosphere on regular days. On days when UFC fights are playing it can be overwhelmingly crowded. No cover charge to watch the fights. They play all pro league sports channels.

The place is very clean and the layout is well put together. The staff are courteous and professional. It is definitely one of my favorite places to have a drink at and chill.

Just cards, which is great - no noise!  Good place to play poker for money legally.   Right off the 5 near Camp Pendleton so you get a fair amount of Marines.

It was well kept, clean and safe.

It's not one of those action-packed casinos filled with *clink clink clink*'s , dice shoots for Craps, or spinning balls on Roulette; this is how I sum it up -- No slot machines, all card games. Try picturing one of those Underground Asian Gambling ventures. It's almost exactly like that, but it's very bright and quiet inside.

If you get a chance or decide to go -- eat the food. It's very good and well cooked. AND you can eat your meal at the gambling tables. That's like room service -- don't even have to go anywhere!

This place is awesome for poker. Ocean's Eleven is the only spot in San Diego I will gamble at. The food is cheap, the poker is great, and the service is as good as the person tipping. Buy-ins are as lows as $40 with 1/1 and 2/2 blinds. It all goes up from there.

I've been coming here for years and never thought about reviewing the place?

I used to come here all the time, and when I mean all the time I would come here "just for dinner" and hope that the burger and fries combo didn't cost me over a $100.

    PRO's
*Action - The best poker action within a 45 mile radius. Get on a fun table with talkative people and you'll stay longer just to hear the wisecracks.
*Food - Where else can you have a burger and fries for $3? Honey Garlic Chicken is pretty popular too. They also have good dinner specials for those that want a full dinner with dessert.
*Black Jack available - Not as good as the local Indian casino's, but at least its there if you want to play.

    CON's
*Bad Beats - Don't cry when your K-K gets cracked by a 8-9 suited because you slow played them on a $1-2 No Limit table.  It happens, it's a drag, but suck it up. But I promise you'll keep coming back for more.
*Close to Home - I used to be here 2-3 days a week, so that has to be a con right?  Right?

Fun place to spend any night of the week if you're into poker, and you can get a bite to eat too.

    Oceans is an interesting place.

THE FOOD - They have inexpensive food (which is free if you play at the $5 chip tables). Last time I played there, they had a dozen clams from their daily specials. If you want a good smoothie, ask the server Sara for one. On a side note, this place is not known for their ability to cook meat. I've never seen a properly cooked steak there and they even screwed up the chicken in a chicken Caesar salad.

THE GAMES - the most friendly dealers here are are in the blackjack pits but the poker dealers at least have personalities. They have some of the friendliest and skilled poker dealers I've ever seen, but they also have some of the most unfriendly and unskilled ones too. They also have a few really friendly floormen.

I'll still come in on occasion to play, but not as much as before.

This is more of a card room than a casino.  It is close to my house so I choose this place over Pala or Pechanga.  Just like every other gambling establishment they want you to come here for one thing...to get your money.  This place is funded by investors and all gambling revenue goes to them.  The only money the actual casino makes is from food and drinks and the .50 cents per hand which I'll get into in a bit.

Pros- Location is good for those in North County.  Lots of poker tables to choose from and hardly ever a wait.  Dealers are friendly and always help out.  Good sports bar and lobby with cheap food.

Cons- Although I appreciate a casino in N. County they put this place in one of the slummiest parts of Oceanside!!  On any game other than poker you are charged .50 cents to play a hand.  Thats right every time you want to play a hand of blackjack you are charged .50 that goes to the casino.  There are no slot machines here only table games.

I'm a regular at Ocean's 11 and I love this place.  All the dealers are friendly, it's clean and the remodeling of the bathroom and bar is awesome.  The food is great and cheap, and the free steak and lobster deals on Tuesday for 3 hours of play can't be beat.

Living in Mission Viejo, it's way better for me than driving out to Commerce or Hawaiian Gardens.  There's never traffic and it's a beautiful drive with the ocean views.  The poker games are structured better.  You can buy in deeper at the 2/3 and 5/5  Hold'em games whereas at the Commerce and HG you can only buy in for 33 bigs or 60 bigs for the 2/5 (for HG anyway.  I believe commerce you can only buy in for 200 max at the 2/5 WTF).

The remodeling of the bar is actually great.  A lot of TV's to sweat any of the games, and like I said...the food is great and easy on the wallet.  Helps after a bad beat.  If you're ever in the casino, hit me up.  I'm probably hanging around there.

The only beat about Ocean's is the parking.

First time I passed this place I thought it was just like an indian casino with flashy lights and clanging slot machines. Little did I know that it's only a card room.

The casino seems like they have plenty of regular customers who know many of the dealers by name. The dealers are pretty friendly and one even waved to me remembering from the week before even though she didn't even play at her table as she was just joining her friend.

They have some great low limit games at 1/1 with as low as a $20.00 buy in. Everyone is hoping to get their hands at the bad beat jackpot where you can win over a $1000 dollars for just sitting at the table.  There are some pretty good card sharks at this location as well as some newbies. A variety of ages come here as well as I sat at table with a 92 year old very grumpy man.

Food: They have $1.00 ice cream that taste like rite aid ice cream. The full meals come pretty cheap at around $3.00 and look pretty decent. I have only had the carrot cake. For $2.50 it's a decent sized piece with some overly sweet cream cheese frosting.

Come back again? Probably will. Maybe one of these days I will actually win some money playing holdem thou!

It's not just a movie, but also a place where hardcore degenerate Texas hold 'em players go to see if they make their draws by the river.  Pot odds be damned.

There's some ridiculously loose low limit games at 1/1 stakes with a $20-40 buy in, where people largely play for a chance to hit the bad beat jackpot.  There's also 2/2, 2/3, 5/5, and 10/10 no limit games that get a lot of play.  They even spread a $25/$50 no cap cash game with a minimum $1,000 buy in Friday nights that brings some real high rollers to the joint.  Oddly enough, in our hero's experience playing here, the games are softer on the weekdays because it seems that more skilled players are willing to travel farther on the weekends to play at Ocean's.

Rules aren't posted here, nor are they really enforced.  Rarely is anyone reprimanded for string betting, playing soft against friends, or inappropriate language.  This is probably the most lax casino in terms of rules enforcement in the greater San Diego area.  After playing a few hands here at lower limits, you'll undoubtedly be questioning what the dealers consider to be a "forward motion" with your chips.

The food here is only served to table players and the menu's not too bad.  Full on meals start at $3 and the selection and quality isn't that bad (for a casino).  They've also opened an attached sports bar last year which has some good happy hour deals from 5-7 PM (such as 1 or 2 dollar beers) for those who aren't playing.  Three hours of play with a player's card on Tuesdays also earns you a free steak and lobster dinner!

Our degenerate hero really can't dislike this place after he got the table's share of a bad beat jackpot at 2 AM on a school night one time.  Some people would infer that he's got a gambling problem.  He would like to think of it as a gambling solution.

    PROS:
    - It's a very social atmosphere and you're guaranteed to meet some characters and some donkies at your table.
    - Wide range of play levels and table limits.
    - Pai Gow and Blackjack available too.
    - Really friendly and helpful staff.
    - Easy to get to on the 5 highway.

    CONS:
    - Their promotions largely cater to regulars who play 40+ hours a month or several times a week.
    - A bit old in style and the tables are poor in quality.

I like playing tournaments and I live in the middle of Sycuan/Viejas and Oceans 11. Oceans 11 wins hands down in this respect. They actually seem like they want you there unlike the ridiculous blind structure at the other ones. As far as the cash games I haven't played too much but they have a variety of games at different buy ins,  I am sure you will find something here if that is your thing.

The other players seem to be pretty knowledgeable unlike the trash that plays trash at Sycuan. The last straw was when a regular who is quite fat put his hands down his pants, scratched his crotch and then grabbed his cards.

The food is solid especially for a poker room.

A card house that is actually rather pleasant to be at for the food, the games and the locals!

    the quick:
    $3 fried rice kicks butt!
    $3 orange chicken kicks kicks!
    locals are friendly!
    games are fairly friendly too!

I know that some of these things are just luck of the draw.  You never know who you'll meet and how the games will be but I had a great time!

The things I would expect you'd be able to depend on are the cheap cheap delicious eats.  Damn you O11 fried rice! you're so inexpensive and good that I question all my other fried rice choices now!  My friend told me to be impressed and I scoffed.  "It's fried rice, how good can it be?"  I got served...

But you have to order in the casino to get those prices.  Order in the bar/restaurant and it's like $8 or $9 for the plate but still a heaping dose of food.  I don't gamble much but I went with a friend just to be adventurous.  I met some locals, shared stories and food and drinks.  It was a good time.  I lost some money on the table but to some personable and interesting characters so it was all good.

Compared to Hawaiian Gardens, this place is the Ritz.  Classy, clean and in charge.  Take a chance and go!

Man, i love finding casinos by happenstance!

on the way to SD for a bachelor party, we happened to see OE right off the freeway. seriously? bad location for degenerate gamblers like me and my buddies. GET OFF NOW!

it's really a card room more than a casino. 2 rooms for poker and 1 for blackjack and pai gow. a good sized bar in there too. nice employees all around. very chatty and friendly. dont' expect chandelliers or bottle service or a shark tank in the middle of the place. it's not vegas. this place is awesome just as it is.

they have a lot of games and they even had a $40 NL table! 1 and 1 on the blinds. it was perfect for a quick game. and for me it was! oh well, the bartender was nice. :)

next boys trip to SD we're stoppinng here again.

Great card room. Lots of tables both limit and no limit. They run an interesting game, 1:1 no limit 40 buy in max. Makes for a nice lower cost no limit game for those getting their feet wet.  Dealers were friendly and professional. I waited about 15 minutes for a seat which is about right. Only twice in the 5 hours I played did our table go down to 5 people or less. On a Tuesday night.

    I recommend.

    Clean, well-lit, smoke-free and FUN!  I spent about 5 hours yesterday at the $1-$1 blinds, $40 buy-in NL Hold'em table.  I had a blast!

I can agree with those who aver that the food here is inexpensive and DELICIOUS!  I had a Tuna steak and a Filet/Lobster plate while I was here.  The fish was $3.5 dollars!  The steak/lobo were FREE because I'd been playing for more than 3 hours.

I see some people are critical of the mural and "interior design" of the place but I think that you should not be mistaken.  The chairs are comfortable, the staff is gracious, the management is excellent and aware of their patrons and employees.  I really can't wait to go back!

I used to come here a lot when I lived in South Orange County, nowadays it's a bit of a trek. It's a small casino, so the wait can be long, one time it took me 30 mins to get a seat at the $3-$6 half kill table. Just be prepared to wait.

The players are a split between senior citizens & military boys. Of course the senior citizens are the locals that play super super tight, so when they raise you know they've got the nuts. The military boys are trigger happy and ready to raise and re-raise you with jack ten offsuit, aggression is their protocol. If you pick your spots, you could make some money here, but just be careful, they've got some local hustlers here that will clean you out.

The tournaments are great, it's run very well and the competition is quite tough, I like playing tourneys here than cash games. The chips are clean and the cards are A Plus brand, a nice little cardroom to visit if you're a poker enthusiast like me.

This is probably as ghetto as it gets.

Not really a "casino", just a couple of rooms with card tables and a restaurant/bar.  I'm not into gambling, so wtf was I even doing here?  Just stopping for shits and giggles on my way home really.

Had a couple beers at the bar which is a boring room that looks strangely like a cafeteria from the 70's.  It appears someone once tried to spruce it up by slapping up a couple pictures of The Rat Pack to add some ambiance.  Hmmm, not so much.  Friendly bar tender at least and beers were $4.  The people watching was priceless.

On the way out there was a car that was left running in the parking lot.  Should I go in and alert the security guard?  Wait, what's that?  Some white granny panties scrunched up in the back seat.

    Priceless I tell ya!

Stopped by here on the way to San Diego, the nice sign next to I-5 made the stop irresistible =)

Newer, super clean place, and a very, very friendly and professional staff. They allow pretty deep buyins (100-300 for the 2/3 for example), so you can surely make some money if you sit there and play it cool and wait. There are plenty of fish but at least they don't make it the wild wild west (like at HGC for instance). Most of the players are pretty bad, so that's always a good thing.

They even have a call button for service on the tables that the dealer can push so you don't have to keep looking around and shouting for food or cocktail service - why can't the other places do this???!!!!

I just wish I lived closer, but I guess from now on my 2 hour drive to San DIego is going to take a few hours longer ;)

I decided to stop here after I realized that maybe it would not be wisest thing to cross the checkpoint off the 5 North while intoxicated. So I get out, go in this place to use the bathroom and get a nice hot tea and then found myself withdrawing $40 from the ATM.

I gotta say, the graveyard shift, both players and staff, are probably some of the friendliest card players I've had a chance to play with. There was a more laid back and friendly vibe, like playing at your buddy's house, instead of a card club. The players all were solid and fun to play with. They have a mellow 1-1 NL (40 max) table that's just awesome if you want to test your card skills...and luck...

I'm usually the youngest one at the card houses at those hours but it was good seeing kids my age in there early 20s mixing it up with all the older grinders. Good mix of people. The dealers are all funny and always engaging in the tables conversation. It wasn't to my surprise that a card house in Oceanside would have a table full of people from everywhere but Oceanside.

Slowly sobering up, sharing laughs and stories, waiting for the sun to come up so I could be on my way home.

Oh yea, the jackpot was at $22,000 and the whole room was playing for a crack at it.

All in all, definitely the friendliest card room I've been to in California.

This is not a casino, this is a card room.  Let me explain.  In California, you can't have casinos, which is why only "Vegas style" casinos we have are on Indian land.  A card room is primarily for poker and for California style gambling.  California style gambling means, no dice, no slot machines, no to many types of table games, and different rules on common games.

Gamblers scroll down to "GAMBLING", but if you're just looking for a low budget party keep reading.  The bar is small but cozy, drinks are good and inexpensive.  The food is good and very inexpensive.  Sometimes they have live entertainment but it is amateur night to say the least.  Luckily after a few drinks you no longer notice.  The decor is unpretentious, atmosphere is laid back, and their service is 'good enough' (for the price).

    GAMBLING

This is a great poker room.  They have all kinds of poker, limit, limit with kill, no limit; holdem, omaha, with all kinds buy ins and limits.  Most tables have bad-beat jackpots.  Most days they also have daily tournaments.

Use good judgment playing poker; there are a lot of experienced players here, so don't play with your rent money or you might end up sleeping in your car.  If your skill level is "I saw this on ESPN, it looks like fun" or "I play for fake money online", you have been warned.

They do have blackjack, but make sure to learn all of its "California - no bust" rules before you play.  The game odds are fractionally better for the player BUT the lower casino edge is completely removed (and then some) by the collection.  I have made money on it playing short aggressive sessions, but here time is not on your side.

The Caribbean Poker is just laughable.  No one who can do simple arithmetic will ever sit down on that table and yet I often see that table completely full.  The top payout on that table is 10 to 1 ... for a straight flush!  Need I say more?

I saved the best hidden gem for last because it is one of a kind.  Nowhere else in the world of gambling can you play at even money odds except at this casino's pai-gow table.  It has NO commission and NO collection.  That's it, even money.  So how do they make that table worth their while?  2 words: degenerate gamblers.  Gamblers who just let it ride until they lose it all, then go to the ATM and do it all over again.  I've seen it too many times on that table.  I hope they haven't changed it since my last visit.

    Review Source:

Please don't come here for blackjack.  This place is a glorified card room (not in a bad sense) so poker is the only real reason to show up.  Playing any of the other table games will cost you a commission on every bet (not smart when the odds are already against you).

The poker here is great, you will find a wide range of skills and minimums (though the two are not always correlated).  At the $1-$1 (NL, $40 max) tables you will see the very old and the very young.  $40 max buy in means you have to make you move quickly to get to a playable stake around $100 - but it also means that once you make it there are plenty of small fish bleed.

Come for the food - its cheap and half-decent.  If they didnt charge for alcohol I'd be there right now...

I play pot limit omaha.  This is one of the only places in the country to find a regular plo game.  It's a $2/2 Blind game that runs every Friday night.  If you love plo too, come play.

The food is cheap and decent.

Minus 2 stars for the folks who named this place.  Creativity isn't their best quality.

Plus 7 stars for everything else.

The food is cheap from what one the dealers told me.  For a very small price (under $7), one can get a good sized and fairly tasty meal.  I will check this out on my next visit.

My 5 stars is for the blackjack scene at Ocean's Eleven.  I don't play poker nor pai gow.  I play blackjack.  You don't have to take a tour of this place to find the $5 table.  Simply walk in, take a few steps forward, make an immediate right and voila!  Cheap entertainment.

Best time suck in the San Diego area while the traffic moves slowly southward on I-5.

Like the other reviews Oceans 11 is a poker room. The ambiance is weak as you come in, it reminds me of a cafeteria with t-bar ceilings and poor wall decorations. There is a mural of the "Rat Pack" that is some sort of dated tired theme they are trying to achieve.

Poker is poker so I won't get too deep on that aspect. The dealers are nice, fun and seem to enjoy their work. The people running the casino are professional and helpful.

On to the food. I've never seen anything like the menu at Oceans 11. You are first drawn into all the different varieties of food options, that make making a decision difficult. Mexican, Chinese, pastas, salads, appetizers, breakfast, hamburgers, stir fry, it just goes on and on. The next thing that catches your eye, is the prices. You feel like you got a menu from the 1950's $1.00 for a Cesar salad, $2.00 for taquitos with generous portion of guacamole, $2.50 for a patty melt with tons of french fries. The Asian dishes are heaping and look good.

The service is so so, but I'm busy playing poker and who cares.

Oceans 11 is in serious need of a makeover or a designers touch. If they have been to Pechanga or one of the nicely done Native American casino's they could see how to warm the place up and create some ambiance. Here again, it's just a card house and most of the for lack of a better word "trailer park" clientele probably wouldn't care if it looked nicer. It serves it's purpose for a card fix and surprisingly decent food for incredible prices.

I've decided if I were to go back to Ocean's Eleven it would be to get drunk at the bar and nothing more!

Saturday night met up with some family for a retirement party and had the worst service ever! First off they have one server in the dining area all night long for drinks and food.

I order dinner fish n' chips which came with a salad and dinner rolls. Salad came out fast but I waited forever for my fish n chips and when they came they tasted like crap as I'm taking my second to last bite the waitress comes by and says "Oh ill have your dinner rolls out in a min I just put them in the oven" shouldn't I of gotten my rolls with dinner???? Ticked me off!! So I get the rolls 15min later they looked doughy and grey and they tasted like they looked..........Gross!!

The rest of the night went on with drinks and allot of drinks to make up for the shitty dinner I had hours before, the entertainment started at 9pm and it was great! We stayed until about 1am went to a Mexican drive through and those rolled tacos were the best Ive ever had ill tell all in the next review............................ TaTa for now!

Ocean's Eleven is the perfect place to get your quick poker fix. It's conveniently located right off I-5 in Oceanside and is only a half hour out of UCSD. Those were the days in college when we would come here for some fun poker and great food. I like it here because it's basically a huge poker room with little else. I think there's a few blackjack tables, but mainly two big rooms sectioned off. I stick to the 1-1 NL because it's cheap with only a 40 buy-in and won't burn a hole in your wallet. The players are usually locals and they are pretty friendly. The dealers are also cool and joke around with you.

One of the main reasons I love Ocean's is because of the food. Everything on their menu is cheap, cheap, cheap. You can get any Chinese plate for $2.00-3.00 The cost of a filet mignon with a baked potato side used to be $5.00, although I'm not sure if they changed the prices or not recently. Drinks are always free except for alcohol. I've always wanted to try the coconut shrimp because they always look good. I can stay all day here, playing poker and eating good, cheap food.

Ocean's has a few downsides. The parking lot is pretty sketchy and on busy nights, you have to park across the street in a gated parking lot that supposedly belongs to them. Another thing is that since the blinds are so low, you have a lot of players doing crazy things that catch you on the river, but if you are decent, you can make money off the bad players in the long run. Thursday through Saturday nights are the best times to go because it's busy and you have a lot of visitors. The other nights are usually filled with locals who know what they are doing.

Ocean's Eleven is a decent casino right off the 5 freeway in Oceanside, California. The place is relatively well kept, although it seems a bit outdated inside and could use a more modern look and feel. The patrons who go range from elderly women and men to young guys who try to seem like they know everything about the game.

The food is great and it's a major plus side of the place. They do take their time getting it to you, but I'm sure that's what they are told to do. You can also order alcohol while playing. They have a decent jackpot and their high limit games attract some fairly well known players.

I'd stay away from the Blackjack and the night club unless you are (as mentioned before by a previous reviewer) a Marine, crackhead cougar combo, old guy, drunk Mexican, a sucker or just a lonely person with absolutely nothing else to do with your time.

Whoever said they had a good looking staff must have low standards because I haven't seen anything worthwhile working at this place. Let's put it straight: good local poker and food and that's it. Downsides: Idiot players at lower limit tables, lots of weird people at times and unsafe parking lot.

Shoot man, you come here for the food and hope you break even at worst! The food is excellent for the price! As far as the casino there is a bar/little restaurant inside as well as some BJ and Three Card Poker games going on. I like the Racing for Dollars in which you play and accrue hours for cash prizes.
The low limit no limit players are horrible. They play like they see on TV although the overall quality of play has increased since the Moneymaker days.
The 3/6 games are mostly weak tight, the 4/8 is a kill game in which you see more experienced players. Above that and you see part time pros and in the main game you actually see both pros and that dude hoping to score.

When an old gambling buddy comes to town, we always have to hit up Ocean's Eleven for some no limit table time and an affordable bite to eat.  Ocean's menu is always impressive in the sense that you can get a full meal for only a few dollars.  They do a great job of keeping their patrons playing by luring them with inexpensive (but not cheap) fare.  Most people don't believe me when I say that a pair of pork chops with sides is only $2.00, or a New York strip with sides is only $3, but it really is!

After losing my shirt to a bad beat, I decided that it was time to rest a bit and grab a sandwich while I waited for my friend to finish up his game.  By this time it was about 2am so I decided that it was time for breakfast and went with their croissant sandwich with sausage and a side of fresh fruit for $3.00.  Though the service was a little slow, the buttery sandwich was piping hot and, along with the refreshing fruit medley of watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe, and honeydew, the meal really hit the spot.

Though the experience cost me a lot more than the $3.00 price of the meal, I must say that Ocean's Eleven is definitely one of my favorite casinos to play at.  It really is more card room than casino but the comfort meal they serve certainly eases the pain of reality that the meal did not cost a few dollars, but instead cost a few hundred.

    Food: 7/10

    Service: 7/10

    Price: $

    Atmosphere: 6/10

I played here a few times while I was at a conference in the area.  It's been a while but I remember enjoying my time there.  The players were quite weak, but I was running poorly, so I broke even.  I would have gotten rocked if I played better players.

I can't remember what the rakes were an all that, but I remember I played $1/$1 $20 buy-in NLHE.  The first poker area you see when you walk in is the low/middle limit area, I thought this was the whole thing, so I didn't think they had a small stakes area, so I played $3/$6 LHE on my first night there.  the next time I found the small stakes area, which is a room to your right after you walk down the stairs towards the main room.

Squeezed between a liquor store, a strip mall with a Latino club on weekends and a street with more potholes than pavement, this place looks shady from the exterior. Walk inside and it's actually fairly nice.

The crowds less prickish than other casinos (though that always changes with how everyone's doing against the cards).

Workers are nice and easy going. Not bad for a local casino.
