Relm

It's a nice find in Carlsbad! I liked the decoration and the setting, wine and food was great. I liked the fact they serve salad and soups and even coffee for a wine lounge. My only complaint was the music, the music was not suitable for a wine lounge. It was very loud and harsh music instead of something relaxing. We had to keep changing seats so we hear less of the music. If the music changes I will definitely go back

I recently went to Relm with some friends for the first time.  I had a really good salad and a Yeti stout to drink.  Both were really good.  I don't usually just eat a salad when I go to a restaurant, but I was very surprised this time.  I enjoy dark beers, but I never had a Yeti before. It was so good I went to BevMo and bought some for home.

I was looking forward to going back with my friends a second time. I was planning on ordering the same thing.  I was even planning on sitting in the same place.  When we arrived, they had some guy singing and playing guitar.  He was too loud for the small setting.  He was set up in my spot too.  I wanted to tell him to beat it.  My friends and I just paused and walked back out.  I was bummed. We ended up going down the street.  I want to go back, but I'll plan it when that dude isn't singing.

Fantastic little place - excellent service (we sat at the bar) by each of the bartenders, tasty food, and delicious wine (and beer too!).  We'll be back for sure. I have no idea what else you could want - adorable atmosphere, great staff, nice selection of craft beer and wine.
