Bar is old school with a strong local presence, so if you're not a regular you'll be treated that way. Â I have been a few times for food and it's actually really good (as far as bar food goes). Â There are better places in the Village for food and booze but the G spot holds its own. Â There is a rare appeal to this place, oh yeah, it's a bar. Â Sometimes bars become bad restaurants, or hipster dives, the G spot is none of those and it doesn't pretend to be. Â Get a beer, sit down, and enjoy some tacos if you're hungry.
Review Source:I'll call it two and a half.
Came in here with a group the other night, looking to extend our "happy hour." Â
Not a bad joint, but I'm partial to dive bars with a little more charm and character to them--not something that resembles someone's dirt cheap rental property. Â It's not a knock, just stating visual facts.
I'm sure, at some point, I'll end up coming back. Â Wait staff was fine and the prices aren't bad. Â Questionable choices of sports on TV, however.
