Horrible service!!! Food was horrible too! My salad was brown and slimy and my friends broccoli was yellow and brown(It was definitely old!) Our waitress never checked on us, we never got refills. I even had to get up and get us silverware so we could eat! If we weren't honest people we literally could've walked out on our bill and our waitress wouldn't have noticed because she was too busy talking to her co workers. I will NEVER go back to O'Charleys. I even wrote a complaint on their website and NEVER got a response back. Shows you how much they care? I could go to Steak and Shake and spend less and get a FRESH salad!

O'Charley has been sliding down and down on my list of places to eat at.  I used to be impressed with the rolls and cinnamon butter but now they no longer carry the butter and you can hardly get the rolls with your dinner.  Service is usually friendly, but with all the changes they make constantly, it's hard to pick this place as a regular.  I do like that the manager always make a point to stop by our table and ask how the meal was.

It is a chain and not one of the more well-known, but it was OK.  The service was friendly, portion size ample, prices good and turnover fast.  I enjoyed my chicken bruschetta (low calories but good flavor, maybe a bit salty) and mini dessert pie.  There aren't many decent dining options in Greenfield and I would return here in the future.

    Thumbs up:  service, speed, price

Food was awful, service friendly and well intentioned but utterly clueless. Wouldn't go back if they were giving away free midgets with every meal. (and I really want a midget)

I have been in Greenfield several weeks for work.  Greenfield is not a good place in general to eat.  O'charley's is the exception.  Very good food.  Service has been businesslike and prompt.  They did not get a "5" because of price / value.  This is not a cheap place to eat, especially with $2.39 iced tea.

We had a group of nine people  for lunch on a Sunday. We called a few hours ahead and asked if they would take reservations, and they said no. My husband said the person on the phone wasn't very friendly or engaging and seemed pretty abrupt.

When we got to the restaurant we decided to wait until we could all sit together, which turned out to be a while, with many people quickly seated before us. We understood. There is a nice area to wait, good sized and with comfortable benches, but it was pretty warm; maybe the air conditioning wasn't working well in that part of the restaurant. We saw the hostess be very friendly to everyone leaving, telling them to have a great day and thanking them for coming.

Our server, Sara, was excellent. She was able to handle our large group very well. She was patient and friendly and positive. She was also very knowledgable about the menu items and very thorough. She was quick with the refills and right on time with each phase of our meal, including offering leftover containers and even to-go drink cups. She was delightful. The manager stopped by and was also friendly. It seems to be a very well run restaurant (though I have to mention that the men's and women's bathrooms were not very clean).

O'Charley's has delicious warm rolls that they bring to your table with soft butter. We also ordered the warm cinnamon mini donuts- wow! They bring them to you in a paper bag and shake them in brown sugar and cinnamon right at your table. They are served with cream cheese icing/sauce- most of us skipped that- the donuts were delicious without them. These are available on their Sunday brunch menu and also on the dessert menu- we all loved them.

They have some great strawberry lemonade that is carbonated, and has fresh strawberries in it, which was delicious, and it was served in a pretty glass. Other restaurants have special lemonades but what I liked about this restaurant is that they give you free refills on the lemonade too and not just on the fountain drinks.

I had the pecan crusted chicken tender salad. It is a large portion in a big bowl. I loved the taste of the chicken tenders (very different from the Fridays version of the salad) but did not feel that the balsamic vinaigrette was a good taste for the salad (which also has Romaine, dried cranberries, mandarin oranges, bleu cheese, and whole candied pecans). Everyone else who ordered the same salad thought the dressing went well with it besides me.

Others said that the burgers were great, that the 12 spice chicken pasta was tasty but spicy, and that the appetizer cheese wedges were delicious.

For $2.99 you can add a soup or salad to any entree and get a free dessert with it.

We all really enjoyed our meals, the ambiance of the restaurant and friendly service by Sara. We visit Greenfield a couple of times and year and hope to be back to O'Charley's again in the future.
