I wish I would have discovered this pub long ago. I've only been here one time but it was great and I used to live just down the road.. now I'm a town away, sad.
One More That's It has rock music, pool tables, good beer on tap, and an outdoor patio with fire pits. If I was going to start a bar it would definitely have all of those things. I had fun here and hopefully we go back sometime soon! :)
Dive bar? Â Yes. Â I'm not sure why people are surprised. Â Just looking at the outside of the bar, at the end of a little strip mall, and you'll know it's a dive bar. Â Also, Oceanside is a Marine town, so expect it to be a "Marine bar" as well. Â What you won't really find here, though, is the need for us to keep labeling this bar. Â It's a bar. Â With booze. Â Bring cash.
While I'm not a big bar person, I love places like OMTI because it has exactly what I'm looking for. Â Cheap Long Islands (and a variety of them as well), pool, darts, juke box, the Female Pleasure Pack for sale in the bathroom, fire pits, and locals to spare. Â Love the bartender and I love playing pool here. Â Great for a low key evening. Â Definitely a fan!
A good neighborhood dive bar is a must for night owls of every age and alcohol tolerance. OMTIP has a full bar, a couple pool tables, a not-so-terrible juke box, darts, and an outdoor area complete with fire pits. The crowd depends on the night of week, but it's usually a mix of marines, bikers, regulars, and cool kids doing some "post-pre-party-partying." The bartenders pour quick and heavy and will pass out a shot or two if they like the cut of your jib. This bar is on the way to the Humane Society Dog Park, so you can stop in on your way for quick drink...just you, not your dog...please don't get your dog drunk.
Review Source:OK so 8 years ago Newcastle was $9.50, then 5 years ago they upped it to $10.50. An acceptable increase. a week ago they upped it to $15.50. Yeah that's 75%+ increase. How many things go up that much. Newcastle and Sierra Nevada. At least Stone is still $11.50. My friends and I have actually been talking about finding a change up bar for a while and maybe this is the last stray, maybe once a month we go elsewhere? They trimmed back the foliage, they cleaned up some of the dirt/rocks in the back patio, but they recently stained the concrete and brick patio and the spray is terrible. It looks like someone diarrhea sprayed and they didn't cover the white fending at all. They did redo a lot of the cheesy interior and after how many years repainted the bathrooms, but it's still a biker bar, still the donk, but how can jack be $4 and newcastle be $15.50? Ownership has it all wrong when me and my buddies drink 90% of all their newcastle and even the staff doesn't agree with the hike.
Review Source:Love this place! Â Always relaxing and something I didn't see mentioned is they have the CA lotto hotspot game. Â Usually its just regulars, and nobody bugs you if you just want to sit and relax by yourself which is what I do. Â Bartenders are friendly and always ready to serve a beer. Â Grace is my ab
Solute favorite tho!!
Understand this is a dive bar so don't come here expecting a dance floor or a bunch of 21 year olds. Â
Great place if your just looking to sit back and drink a beer! Â Doesn't accept credit cards but has an ATM inside.
I've been here many many times and have always had fun...sometimes so much so that I don't remember how much fun was actually had. There are friendly faces every where. It's definitely a dive.
But, they have a juke box, pool tables, out door patio with fire pits. It's a cool place for happy hour and late night.
Best part is it's a block away from an all night Mexican drive thru...HOLLA!!!
Just like everyone says, this is a total dive bar and you can tell that the majority of the people that go there are regulars. Â I don't feel like I have to get all done up to go out here on a Friday or Saturday night. Â My friends and I mainly go here just because its close enough so a cab ride back home isn't that expensive and a pitcher of Bud Light or Coors Light is just $8. Â We usually hang out at the fire pits outside to smoke, and for the most part that atmosphere is really chill out there. Â I don't really like hanging out inside, which is why I took off 2 stars- basically, when it rains, I won't be coming here just because I really don't like the atmosphere inside. Â The people that work there are pretty cool too. Â
So if you're looking for something chill where you can relax for some drinks, this is definitely the place to go... Just don't expect much!
Okay this may be the epitome of a Dive/Biker/Marine bar...but everyone needs to change it up a little bit...and this place has just  the right elements to ease into a weekend or wind down from a rough day.  Fire pits out on the patio, diverse clientele and bartenders that can throw down some mighty cocktails and all have the "have a good time" personality. One of the nightime bartenders Erica never fails to crack me up.  Prices are very reasonable . OMTI ...where you always feel like you're just kicking back with a bunch of friends.
Review Source:I've heard of OMTI and have been wanting to check it out. Â My friend picked me up and we met a few others there. Â I was picturing a scary place because I've heard mixed things about it! Â Hey I recon I like dive bars! Â We were there pretty early so we were able to all sit at a long table. Â The bartender was friendly and got us our beers and I ordered 6 shots which he knocked right out for us. Â
They had fire pits and tables outside which was nice that you can actually drink outside! Â Many bars don't have that approved on their license!
I found the patrons to be friendly but, hey... I had already started happy hour someplace else! LOL Â I also heard they have great drink specials.
If you have issues getting up and walking to a bar to order a drink then this isn't the place for you!
The first thing to realize is THIS IS A DIVE BAR. Â And thusly, you aren't going to encounter a bunch of young people decked out to club and bar-hop. Â Instead, you are going to encounter a mix of older regulars and young marines. Â It may sounds horrible to some, but me and three of my girl friends went here after a bit of pre-partying and had a great time chatting everyone up and getting free drinks.
The bartender there is awesome. Â We were tipping pretty well and drinks would magically appear that "she made too many of."
I recommend going here if you ever find yourself in Oceanside on a weekend night and are looking for a place to chill with friends. Â If you are a female, however, prepared to get hit on. Â It's worthy to note we were the only girls at the bar!
