Osaka Japanese Restaurant

Sushi-wise as good as the best. Liberal use of roe and piquant wasabi. Excellent butterfly roll and moline roll.   Spicy rolls are mild in my California view but too spicy for my Boston spouse.  Whe restaurant has an Oceanic scent to it. Temperature is cooler at the sushi bar

I do really enjoy this restaurant, but not quite as much as the one in Davenport. The layout of this one is cool because even if you sit in the sushi bar, you can see the teppanyaki shows going on in the other side. The staff at this one is also quick and friendly, so the only downside is that they don't have as many menu options as the other restaurant, such as bento boxes. I definitely recommend eating at either, though, because what they do make is delicious.

The food was savory and cooked to perfection.  The Hibachi chef was fun and made it a grand performance.  The hostess, however, talked on her cellphone in an oriental language from the greeting to the seating.  We were ready to leave before we were served.  Luckily, calmer heads prevailed and we got this wonderful meal.  Five stars for the food, minus one star for the hostess.
