Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

I generally like this chain; my go-to favorites are the Fiesta Lime Chicken and the Boneless Buffalo Wings.  Today I decided to try one of the featured specials, the Cajun Steak and Shrimp.  I wish I had gone with my safe go-to options.  My four ounce steak, while cooked to the right temperature, was not a very good quality cut of steak.  I had to do that thing where you secretly spit out your food into a napkin, after chewing on a gross chunk of gristle.  

Service was great; when my steak was brought to the table, the server waited for me to check the done-ness.

Food was good, nothing special though.  The service was extremely slow.

ONE of my fav places to eat..best steaks around imo..
