You know, this place is surprisingly good! Â Definitely a local crowd, but professionally staffed, efficiently run, and nice menu options. Â Yes, it's typical cafe menu, burgers, sandwiches, fried bits for appetizers. Â But quite good, fresh, and quick service. Â Great, inexpensive breakfast foods. Â My only complaint would be the coffee creamer, the powdery stuff, instead of actual cream of any kind. Â The place is very basic but pleasant. Â Overall, a great place to stop for a quick, tasty bite.
Review Source:I've only been here a couple times, but the first time I went was the first night we moved to town and it was a weekday. Â It was busy enough that I could tell that they have a loyal following--always a good sign. Â I ordered something like enchiladas, and it wasn't the most fantastic enchilada ever but it was satisfying and the price was well matched. Â They advertised that their prime rib (served on Fridays) was the best in the area, so of course we went back for some when a friend came to visit. Â It cost just as much as you'd expect it to, and it was pretty good (but prime rib, as long as its cooked to the temp you want it is like pizza, it's pretty good no matter what. Â I really like the place, and I'd go more often if my hubby wasn't such a chain restaurant fan. Â It's definitely got that townie feel that I love.
