I have been eating at Outbacks all over the country for over twenty years. The main reason is because no matter where I am I can count on consistency. This particular Outback I have been coming to for years. But now the bean counters think they can pull a fast one. We were in a party of eight and everyone of us noticed the portions were smaller for the same price-noticeably. And then on top that, the plates were shrunk to make us think the portions were bigger. Well, I have news for you, my bean counting friends, I will take my dollars else where.
Review Source:The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food that was delivered. The wine was served quickly in a very nice glass. There was a decent amount of wine for my $6.50 glass of Pino Nior. The quality of the wine was very nice.
I ordered the Chicken and Steak Outback Griller. The steak was cook just as requested. The quality of my steak was excellent. The Chicken was dry and I questioned the quality of the chicken. The bed of rice was perfect and the pineapple chunks were sweet and fairly large. In the past the quality of the chicken for this item has been far superior and the pineapple chunks have been much larger.
Overall the meal and experience was very good.
I have been to this Outback four or five times. Every single time both my wife and I had a great meal. Our daughter usually just picks off of our plates, so she doesn't count. ;) Â But my wife is a vegetarian and most places don't have anything for her to eat, but Outback has a nice pasta & vegetables that she loves. An extra side of veggies and she's good to go. I always get the Filet with fries & veggies and a couple of beers. I haven't had a bad one yet. And whatever they do to their vegetables is awesome!
