While traveling I have eaten at other Olive Garden's but the Olive Garden in Sterling Heights, MI seems to get it right every time. Once in a blue moon we'll have poor service but in my many years of eating at this location I think I've only experienced one time when the food wasn't anything but excellent.
I love their house red wine and especially love the price at $4.95 a glass. The desserts are good too. We usually order the tiramisu (spelling?) - I've yet to taste a better tiramisu than what Olive Garden serves.
I was tempted to order the never-ending pasta bowl due to the price and taste or to order my usual eggplant ptarmigan but decided to be adventurous and ordered the Pork Milanese. I'm so glad I veered from the path as this was the best Pork I've tasted in a long time.
The meal was served piping hot. The pork was thinly sliced, served in two large pieces, breaded to perfection and cooked perfectly. The coating was brown, crispy and seasoned just right. The pork was tender and tasty. The cheese tortellini's were large, plentiful and served with a delicious cream sauce.
I now have a new favorite dish at The Olive Garden.
