Paco's is a family tradition in my husband's family. They grew up on that side of town and enjoyed it growing up. Now we largely go once a year after an east-side cemetery visit on Black Friday. The service is... Meh. The food is Tex-Mex and NOT authentic Mexican. I've had good and bad tortillas, oily and dry cheese, etc. I do like the chips and salsa, and I enjoy the bean and cheese burritos and enchiladas with guacamole and salsa, but I don't go out of my way to drive to Mt. Clemens or anything. This year's visit was ok, but we had to ask the waitress for straws, silverware, the right size guacamole, the mild salsa we ordered, and half of my mother-in-law's order. So if you want a decent comfort food meal and have cash (CASH ONLY but they do have an ATM), go ahead. Otherwise go somewhere else. (PS, leave your large vehicles at home... The parking lot is awkward and tiny.)
Review Source:Ok still at the restaurant and had to write the review .... EPIC FAILURE .... I expected Mexican it wasn't - it definitely is Tex Mex. Â i thought it was weird in the first five minutes and asked for mild sauce and they said that there was a charge for it, Â weird. Â I ordered a burrito and the meat wasn't seasoned. My son ordered a quesadilla and the cheese was oily, Â My wife ordered a taco and it was greasy. Â Did not like this place and will not be back
