Park Place Restaurant & Bar

Update:  The owner contacted me through Yelp and was disappointed to hear that I had an unhappy experience at his restaurant.  Although I will not accept his offer of a gift certificate, I think it shows that he cares about his patrons.

I  came here when it first opened a few years ago and I remembered liking it. Then I went here last night and when I was paying for the meal myself I realized yeah this just plain isn't worth the price. They are too pricey for Floral Park!! It feels like they are trying to cater to a Garden City clientele.
If I could I would give this place 2 and 1/2 stars. The service is fine, the bread is good, they play entertaining background music, but when it comes down to it their prices don't match the quality of their food. I had the Country Fried Chicken, it wasn't bad but none of the meal impressed me. It came out hot, I'll give them that. The chicken was fine but the mashed potatoes were just ok and the broccoli might as well been frozen store bought.
The take away is one time was enough.

Went on a Friday night hostess were very polite and welcoming atmosphere was good and bar tenders very friendly didn't eat anything but all the food smelt and looked delectable I recommend this place to anyone willing to have a good time at a not well known joint
