A party just isn't a party at Tabu without the ubiquitous herb wearing his 99 cent store sunglasses, a cat daddy wandering the club trying to dry hump a female young enough to be his great-grandchild, several big chicks who cleared out every Annie Sez store on Long Island for their spandex, and last but certainly not least, or not noteworthy to mention, the wanna-be gangstas who get pissed off that they either can't get in, or get kicked out due to their uncontrolled behavior, who decide to return to shoot up the place as if these people are even worthy of the bullets you purchased from Nam Nam over on Terror Avenue in HUMPstead.
In the amount of time it took you to read my long ass sentence above, not only could you have found a better place to party at, but you probably would have gotten in already, and not have to wait on a long ass line that is meant for nothing more than to fool the locals into thinking that this must be "the spot yo". Â Because you know.........that long line must be because it is extremely packed inside, and not because they're trying to erase all traces of semen and blood off those so-called VIP areas you so desperately want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on for a bottle of $20 vodka cleverly disguised as Grey Goose, when in actuality, it was poured out and instead you're drinking the vodka from the well.
My suggestion? Â If you still decide to go after reading this stellar review (mark my review as funny bitches), use the overpriced alcohol to disinfect the fabric on that couch you're sitting on; I heard bacteria grows in moist conditions.
Went here on NYE's night ONLY b/c i didnt feel like going to the city. DJ Melo was the wackest played this wacka flacka gimme a $ music for hours. The old lookin (cotton socks hard shoes type) dudes in the place was a tragedy!! I almost slit my wrist from that experience (JK) no bueno!!!!
Review Source:Went to Tabu for the first time last night. It will also be my last. The DJ Mr Cee was holding it down. $20 cover for females on a Sat, a "grown night" Females 23 and over, guys 25 and over. We were enjoying ourselves until a fight broke out (because people were drunk and supposedly some guy had his chain stolen), which led to several other fights. People were getting trampled on the dance floor and they were breaking bottles. My girls and I were trying to leave, and this guy pushed us out the way, blood dripping from his face. When we looked at the floor, there was blood everywhere, including my friend and I. Yes, blood on our arms, clothes and hair. Disgusting.
We finally made it outside where the owner/manager was speaking to the other people in our party and he was very nonchalant about the whole situation. He did not care that there was a fight or that it had even escalated to the point of bloodshed. I don't know what kind of establishment is being run here where security lets people fight to that point. We will definitely NEVER be going back here. I will gladly tell people not to go here either, if you value your safety.
