Peacock Lounge

This place has gone down hill.  The staff is thuggish and rude.  This place isn't divey, it's straight up ghetto.  We were watching some NCAA there, and about 830 or 9 our other friend shows up - they won't let him in without a $20 cover for the dj.  Well, the dj didn't even start until 10 pm.  So my friend leaves.  Which I don't blame him.  We happen to finish the game, but we have some pizza from jakes we're still working on.  Jakes pizza is down the parking lot (go there instead).  So we're finishing up our last pitcher and the dj starts.  AWFUL.  Playing off a laptop and didn't know what he was doing.  $20 for that?  We go to leave and I go to close out my tab, the bartender says we don't take American Express.  Well, I specifically asked the other bartender if they took it and she said YES.  So when I say something about it, he is extremely rude and tells me he doesn't give a f@ck.  So you know what I say, F@CK THIS PLACE.  NEVER AGAIN.  I used to go in here an watch football all the time with my friends.  They just lost cool, repeat customers who like to drink.  Not sure what happened to the other bartenders, they were cool and friendly.  Now it's like a bunch of ex-cons work the place.

I was at the bar when the reviewer Avi G. Had a run in with the bartender. Not sure how it escalated so quickly but the bartender did in fact say that. Avi and his friends were drunk but in no way deserving of that. Heck, they bought me (a random dude) a shot. Thanks guys!

Other than that the atmosphere was a little tense after that but the bar has potential.

Today we went here, during our check out we asked to pay separately as we had only one tap open. This bartender refused to charge separately and charged us on one card. Then he told us that he can not void transaction. My friend told him that he is not happy about this, then he told us that get out from here and he don't give f**k about us coming back. These were his exact words. This bartender was rude and raciest avoid this place if you have left with little humanity with you.
