Tekila Rock

They share the  same venue as Lilly Macs. Dinner before 9-10pm, turns into Tekila Rock Salsa dance club after 10PM. Crowd is mostly 20 to 40-ish.

Don't go there before 10pm because even they say it opens at 9pm but they are not going to kick out the dinner guest (most stay late into 9pm-ish.) Then they move all the dinning tables and seats to the back to make room for the dance floor. Between 10-11pm, not much actions except for 1 to few ( I suspect 1 couple is hired pro-dancer) dancing to bring up the "ambiance". (Lots of young single guys trying to pick up few single girls?)

Real action starts around 11pm with some very good amateur dancing couples on the floor. Most girls on the dancing floor dressed to impress ( meaning wearing very sexy--showing her asset-- dance dresses). Quite the eye candy.

Bar opens all night. standard $5-ish beer etc.

Overall, a quite entertaining evening. I'd give them 4 stars, but was a little disappointed at the narrow long dance floor setting and lack of seating ( very few). I guess it's not designed to be a dancing ball room. Still a nice Saturday night out with your hot girl friend if you can "salsa"!

The bartenders are awful (not people just at making drinks). I drink vodka sodas. Both times had to ask for a lime. Second time had to request soda after bartender asked if I wanted water added to the vodka!? BF's margaritas were 50% sweet n sour. At least I got in free for being with the band.

This is an awesome place, if you want to have a good time with live salsa music, great ambiance, and great dance floor.

There is a lot of free parking available, admission it's only $5.00 before 10:00 pm and after 10:00 pm is $10.00.

We went for the openning night and have been back since, there is plenty of space to dance, the bands are very good and in between there is DJ's. They also have check coat available.

I will reccommend it, if you haven't been there yet, go and have fun, I guaranty you will have a great time!
