Haven't been here in quite a while when I used to work in the area, but the place hasn't changed at all, which is a good thing. Â The burgers are excellent, they offer a large variety, not to mention chicken sandwiches and cheesesteaks. Â I recommend the bacon and cheddar, mushroom and original burger. Â No meal is complete without fries. Â The original fries are good, but you have to get the garlic fries. Â They also offers specials on various days, so check them out and you don't regret it. Â Today was 1/2 off all burgers and that's a bargain once you see the size of the burgers.
Review Source:This place nearly killed me today. Â There is a menu item "teriyaki chicken salad", which in fact doesn't use teriyaki sauce, but uses a peanut-based satay sauce. Â As I'm deathly allergic to peanuts, I almost didn't make it to the hospital; or in time for it to matter.
Peanuts are a common enough allergen that you should be very clear about it! Â I'm never going there again.
Have been here many times before, but our group of eight came in on a Saturday as this one of the few places that would satisfy (and, more importantly, keep them quiet) the kids. They have deals every day of the week and it's half off burgers on Saturday. They also let you substitute and make it a turkey burger if you wish. Pretty standard ordering, you come in, stand on line and place your order. They'll give you a buzzer that will buzz and alert you as to when to pick up your food.
I was having difficulty deciding what to order and ended up getting the Cajun burger. It wasn't seasoned very well and didn't have much flavor and then plopped on top of the patty was just a pile of salsa, which also sadly, wasn't popping with flavors either. I've had much better experiences here. Each burger also comes with a puny bag of Lays potato chips, so most every table orders fries. It's pricey at $4.75 a basket and nothing too amazing either.
Pitchers are relatively cheap here, but not much better than just getting a glass (Think it was less than four full glasses per pitcher). It's your typical pub seating, but you can also sit outside on the patio, though it's usually packed.
