Don't let the fact that this is attached to a Marriott fool you into thinking it is a typical hotel restaurant, because it is not. The food and wine here are absolutely top notch, and I come here despite never having spent a night in the hotel. Give it a try. You will be glad you did.

Came here for a mid-week BD dinner. Nice, fresh, natural fine dining dishes. Menu changes frequently based on seasonal ingredients. Had the Smoked Pork Chops, which were very flavorful and not too dry even though we asked for it to be prepared medium well (they suggest medium). The fish dish (Blackened Buefish) was also very good. Berries dessert was a nice trio of different tasting sized treats. Loved the wine flights. Service was good. All round, a great evening.

This review is for their lunch only, although I've been for dinner in the past and had a great meal then. Parcel 104 is located in the Santa Clara Marriott by Great America. My colleague and I came in last Friday at noon for lunch, and I had reservations so we were greeted and seated right away. There were a good number of tables already seated inside and on the patio, but the restaurant was only about half full at the time. We were seated on the patio, which was nice since it was sunny out. We ordered:

-Complimentary Bread & Butter: Really good- the bread was still warm when it was served, and the room temperature butter was easy to spread.
-Coleman BBQ Spareribs (Coleslaw, Chipotle BBQ Sauce, $10, http://www.yelp.com/biz_…): Yum! The ribs were really tender and fell off the bone, and also very flavorful. Highly recommended!
-Organic Hearts of Romaine, Bradley's Caesar Dressing, Sourdough Crostini ($13, http://www.yelp.com/biz_…): Pretty good. I liked their take on the Caesar salad, but not enough to pay $13 for it again.
-Hardwood Grilled Mahi Mahi (Coachella Corn Salad, Cumin Lime Vinaigrette, $29, http://www.yelp.com/biz_…): Just ok. The fish was overcooked and on the dry side even though our server told us they almost undercook it, so that was really disappointing. However, the corn salad was delicious, and I wish they offered that as a side dish.
-Custom Blend "Steak Burger" (Aged White Cheddar, Housemade Fries, $19, http://www.yelp.com/biz_…): We had also added Applewood Smoked Bacon ($3) and Chuy's Guacamole ($3), but since they forgot to bring it with the burger initially we didn't get charged for it even though they brought it after we reminded them. I was glad since it would've been a rip off to pay $3 for the tiny container for guacamole. The burger was also pretty big, and already flavorful, so didn't need anything extra. The fries were good but nothing special. I don't know if this burger was worth $19 though.

Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. However, since he had so many tables, it took him a while to come back around to check on us, and it was difficult to flag him down towards the end.

Overall, I enjoyed our meal here, but am not sure I would come back for a casual lunch since the prices are on the higher side. This is a great place for a work lunch, especially when the weather is nice out. However, I'd still like to come back for dinner at some point. There isn't parking right in front of the restaurant unless you're a hotel guest and have a parking pass, but you can park in the covered lot to the right of the entrance for free (just remember to bring your ticket with you to get validated at the restaurant).
