Pepe's Mexican Restaurants

No way ever again.
I had to pay to get a drink so a desperate 4 year old could use the washroom

Pepe's is delicious. I live in Lincoln Park so this one would be the easiest to get to. We took the Halsted bus all the way there just to be told by a homeless guy that this is closed down. So that sucks.

I love this Pepe's. I haven't ever eaten in, I just grab a taco to go with my lemonade and eat at the car. I've heard their tamales are awesome, rice is good, and I love their greasy beef tacos. (Goes well with the fries from Al's!) The owner is friendly and funny, and it's generally slow (and therefore quick to get your order!). No public washroom, and I'm not sure if they take credit cards.
