You know the feeling you get when you experience the perfect filet migon or steak that arrives to your table and it just takes your breath away. It's cooked a beautiful golden to brown color that almost appears to have been caramelized with dark crusts that make you salivate. Then you bite into it and you feel yourself floating away in heaven. Well I certainly DID NOT experience that at this restaurant.

Did you ever take a decent piece of leftover meat home from a restaurant and reheat it home the next day? It comes out a ghoulish gray on both the outside and inside and has a musty old leftover taste and you take one bite and then dump it in the trash. Well this is more like the meat I was served in the restaurant.

It was terrible and looked and tasted precooked, leftover and reheated. Totally disgusting!

I just chalked it up as a loss and will never go back to this place again.  
The service also was on the weak side. The table next to be was offered freshly ground black pepper and I was ignored and had to request it.

Then to top it off, one the way out we see a waiter and one the the kitchen staff on the rear porch smoking and spitting over the railing, first class all the way.

Sometimes in life you have to be happy when things don't go your way because a better outcome may come your way.  

That's how I feel about this place.  I was inside another establishment and the wait was just too much.  Walked a couple of blocks down and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant.  They had a sign outside that advertised a 24oz Rib-eye for $24.  I thought to myself that this was a mistake but it wasn't.

The interior has a very nice classic decor with art of Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe and the Brat Pack.  It was Sunday night and the place was almost empty however the atmosphere was friendly and our waiter was fantastic.  

The steak came out looking great.  It was a little more done than I would have liked but it was good.  My friend had the chicken parm and enjoyed that.  I ended the night with and espresso (and a carryout for the rest of that steak).

If your in Port Chester, definitely check out this place.

The interior has a very classy feel to it decked with a bar in the front with a small dining space, a larger dining room in the back, a guitarist playing live, and grand modern decor.  Very italian to have framed mafia pictures on the wall.

The staff here are friendly, personable, and will serenade you while you dine. Great place for dates or gathereing a group for drinks and dinner.  When I had to go to the bathroom but couldn't find it, the guitarist escorted me there instead of just pointing directions to me. Great customer service! Felt pretty special haha.

I didn't get a chance to taste anything from their menu but when the servers brought it out to the tables, the food smelled mouthwatering delicious and had a great aroma to it.  Wish I had some of their food before I left!!
