Phillips Alehouse and Grill

Stopped in last Saturday afternoon on a ride with Joanna.  Bartender was very friendly and easy-going.  Enjoyed a brew and the panni sandwich.  Perfect atmosphere - really enjoyed our brief stop over.

This is officially my new favorite spot in Old Town Monrovia!

They have a great selection of craft beers on tap. I always sit at the bar and the bartenders are very friendly. When I wasn't sure what my next drink would be, the bartenders would always let me taste different beers. This is how I discovered my first favorite IPA by the way!

The half nachos for $5 during happy hour is a steal! If that was only half, I'm scared to order the full nachos. They make their own tortilla chips so everything is made fresh to order! The Wine and Mushroom burger was nice and juicy as well!

Definitely going to be my go to spot during Football Season!!

I came here with one of my buddies and T-Phillips was our second stop. Quite frankly, I enjoy this bar more than the others on Mrytle. There is a gentlman in salt/pepper hair who might be a manager there or the owner which is besides the point but he is always nice and provides good service. If you don't like waiting around for your waiter just sit at the bar. Those guys are always on top of their game.

We shared the Sauteed Chicken w/ Rice and it hit the spot. Very yummy!

One thing that I noticed when coming here is that there is a ton of cougars on the prowl. Ha Ha. It's definately entertaining seeing them hit on the young boys here.

Besides that, T-Phillips is a great bar & grill to catch games and their beer selection isn't so bad either!
