Phil's Sports Bar

This bar is a dive and I love it. Nothing really special here and the bar next door is better looking as my next post wil explain. This one has cheap beer,pool table, and big windows to look at traffic on harlem Avenue.

Go for the cheap beer stay for the subtle racism.

I went into Phils Sports Bar on Thursday night to have a cocktail or two. Kathleen was bartending and provided excellent service. The bar was clean and had bar seating along with tables and stools. The lighting was medium with many beer signs on the wall. At the bar they put out free pop-corn which is an excellent customer service move. Behind the bar they had a Holiday food collection box for the needy, another outstanding move. The establishment has four TVs, a ping-pong table, a bowling machine, a dart machine, a pool table, an ATM and a TouchTunes digital juke box. Kathleen is an oustanding bartender with many years experience in the bar business. She provides great service along with good conversation. Many working class and locals drink at this establisment. Drinks are very reasonable too. For a place to drink and mix it up I say give it a try, especially when Kathleen is bartending (:
