People are still able to smoke here.

I still think "Blue Oyster" when I think Pink Galleon.

I still come here to watch UFC fights, but they have cover for that but everything else is so cheap I don't really care.

Ah, the Galleon.. slightly dirty, a little run down, still as smoky as ever (somehow they have an exemption on the ban) and with 1980's style half naked dudes in the women's room.  Just what a pool hall should be.

Free darts is usually where you'll find me when I'm there.  The boards and darts could probably stand to be replaced, but .. umm.. it's free.  They also have electronic dart boards in the arcade section, if that's more your thing.  Free Ping pong, pay to play pool, as well as a shuffleboard and air hockey table - both of which are a little expensive to play IMHO.  There's a jukebox, so you never know what kind of music is going to be played.  It's a pretty popular selection too, so don't drop a bunch of money expecting to hear your music any time soon.

I haven't tried the food, but the beer seems reasonable.  You can get the 100 ounce tower of domestic beer for $15.  It's usually full but not packed.  Noisy enough to keep up a good Saturday night vibe, but not so loud that you can't smack talk your friends when you dominate them in Cricket :)

No cover unless they have live music that night.

This is my fav game place. I'm very competitive so whenever I need to show my beau whose boss we come here. We always start off with ping pong, then move to darts, then air hockey, then pool, then pinball so like I said there's tons to do. Oh and ping pong is free so you can't beat that! Best game place in the Lou!!!

Every time that I went by the Pink Galleon and still go by the Pink Galleon the first thing that come to mind for some reason is the Oyster Bar from Police Academy, you know, that one with all the guys. This place isn't like that though. No, this place is pretty cool. The reason it is called Pink Galleon is because of course the numerous pink pool tables that this place has.

The Pink Galleon is actually a fun place to go and hang out. The first time that I went there I had my reservation, but after the first time, all of those reservations went out of the door as I let myself just sit back, relax, and have a good time.

Because there is a large number of pool tables, you never really have to wait all that long to play. Even if you do have to wait, it is not so bad because they have a nice large bar where you can hang out with friends and sip on some drinks as you wait for the next available game.

There are several locations of The Pink Galleon in STL, and in my humble opinion they are all great; that is, if you can appreciate a really good dive bar. For those of you who aren't into smoky bars with mermaids painted on every surface, this isn't the place for you. The drinks here are always cheap, the pool is cheap, the darts are free, and they have shuffleboard, arguably the best bar game ever invented. The Pink Galleon is a great place in STL to play games with friends, imbibe some sweet adult beverages, and perhaps have a snack- standard snack bar food only here but it's dependable and just want you'll want after a few games of shuffle.

This is a fun place to go with work friends for some drinks.  The place is really gaudy, but in a fun 1980s sort of way!  They have a huge shark hanging from the ceiling and every inch of the place is decorated.  There are a few pool tables and a few ping pong tables.  The night I went the smoke was so thick that I could barely breath, but I do have to keep in mind that there were ten people at my table and that I was the only one not smoking.  Therefore, my perception on this aspect may be a bit skewed.  This isn't your gross type of bar, it's just a fun hang out sort of place where people just kick back and do their own thing.  The vastness of the place helps keep people in their own groups, but there are plenty of places to mingle.  I give this a high rating mainly for the playfulness of it.

Not a real fan of this chain of pool halls.  Super smoky and the atmosphere could really use some improvement.  I guess its okay if you are desperate to play pool.

    Four Locations
    Open 7 days a week from 11:00 a.m.
Considers itself an adult Chucky Cheese.

I gotta say I laughed when I saw someone reviewed this but if you've been there you have to admit, it's a lot of fun.  We do a lot of work outings here and it seemed to have stuck with the name of the Pink Stallion some time ago.......

No one ever said this joint was classy.  The airbrushed murals are entertaining, it's huge so you won't wait long if at all for a pool table, and there are great cheap drink specials.  If you like pool, are frugal,  and have a sense of humor, this is the place to be.
