Been going here for years. Â Love the DJ on Friday nights but disappointed in the menu changes. Â I miss the foie gras on the filet mignon and the mushroom pappardelle. Â The service is always outstanding, especially Laurie! Â Last time we went they made the DJ stop early cause it wasn't crowded. Â Not happy!
Review Source:Pino's comes down a star after a recent dining experience here. I tried the mozzarella salad again, and the mozzorella wasn't fresh. It wasn't cold as it was supposed to be and seemed like it was out at room temp for quite some time. For my main dish I tried the penna ala vodka with proschuito. It was ok, nothing spectacular.
A definite disappointment from before, and I won't be trolling back here soon. Prices remain high.
My family and I love Pino's and every dish that I have had is excellent. Â Everything from the Day Boat Halibut to the Veal Osso Bucco -- yum!
Dining at Pino's is always a great time, with professional service and excellent food that is really hard to come by these days! Thanks again and I highly recommend Pino's for your next fine dining experience.
This place was pretty awesome. I came here for a father's day dinner.
The restaurant itself was beautiful, the staff and service was fantastic, they had live music, and the food was delicious.
I deducted one star because they're a bit slow, but the quality of the food was worth it! Â There wasn't any salt and pepper on the table, so that shows that the chef and people in the kitchen were confident about their cooking skills! :-) The presentation of the food was unique and very pretty, as well!
This restaurant is made for big parties and groups of people-- they have separate sections and there is also a cute section with booths if you want to drop in for JUST dessert. I didn't have any dessert, but they offered a variety of pastries, cookies, and cakes!
i recommend this place if you ever find yourself in jersey! The food is moderately priced... it isn't overly expensive, but you can easily spend alot of money if you get a bottle of wine, appetizers, and dessert.
I have been going to this restaurant since it opened and I have never had a bad meal here. My Italian grandmother who lives in Brooklyn also always makes it a point to eat here whenever she is in the area. First impression walking into Pino's is that it is a stuck up, snooty, fancy restaurant but then you hear the engaging live music and see middle-aged Italian women singing and dancing and you change your mind. Eating at Pino's is truly an experience. The decor is very classy and expensive looking and the crowd is usually a lot of fun. The waiters all are tuxedo adorned and extremely professional. Expect to see a lot of families, people on dates, and what seem to be mobsters-- but expect to see them all smiling, enjoying a good meal. Every table is served bruschetta, which is always good and bread and olive oil. For an appetizer I usually order the shrimp cocktail. HUGE tender, sweet shrimp, just like I like them. For an entree I ALWAYS order the Rack of Lamb. It is a special item, I believe... you have to ask for it (Not 100% on that) It is a wonderful dish with a symphony of flavors. Tender, flavorful lamb, a delicious sweet but savory fig reduction, creamy, tangy goat cheese, and fresh figs make this dish sing. As for dessert, I order the tiramisu which is also very good (but made with amaretto, for all those with nut allergies!) For a delicious, classy, yet fun dining experience try Pino's. You won't be disappointed! (Well, I hope. :-) )
Review Source:Came out to Jersey with some friend. She took me to this restaurant, looked nice & classy. They have live music. O.K. a man playing the piano & singing. I ordered for appetizers Lobster cocktail, escargot, and some clams. We split linguine with clams. They don't give you many clams, that's the only complaint. For a main dish I had African lobster (WOW) you can taste the sea. My friend had fillet mignon with portobello mushrooms. The best fillet mignon she ever had.
