"I love the Imperial Chicken and the Teacup Rolls are good as well.
Cloverleaf yeast rolls baked in a cup.
I had a French dressing on my salad.
The dressing may have been made by the Chef, it was a little different but tasty, and the croutons were fresh made and delicious too.
The only thing that I would change would be the red potatoes.
They were big and I thought maybe a little undercooked but I was too full to eat them anyways.
What is wrong with this place? In case you haven't been, here is a list of reasons not to go:
Weird atmosphere
Too many tiny lamps per table
Overpriced menu
Terrible presentation
Uninspired offerings
I could be less critical of this place because it is designed for old people with no taste buds, but I feel the positive reviews are misleading. I don't think I visited on an off night as it was a Friday night and only slightly busy.
The server was mostly on top of things but did not seem interested in my table. The food was oily, over cooked and poorly plated. The only good part was the tea bread, which was a decent popover with cinnamon butter.
Don't go if you don't have to!
