1 Star removed for PRICE:
Before I get to the good, I'll run through my only problem: prices. Most irregular pizzas (you know, the delicious ones you're definitely going to order) range from $15 up to $20, with most being in the $18-$20 range. This is a little too expensive for comfort, especially given the sizes. When I read 18", I had imagined a large round 18" in diameter to pie. Because their pies are rectangular (something that, though labeled and advertised as such, I hadn't initially absorbed,) this ends up being a lot less pizza overall.
That said...
Oh man, this is GOOD pizza. We got the Farmer's Market (a choice we had a tough time making in the first place due to the interesting selection,) and it was loaded with fresh, well prepared veggies. Everything here is about flavor and not over-loading the cheese or over-salting the sauce. Just pure (and apparently all natural) flavor.
We highly recommend the multigrain crust. Kind of tastes like cheerios (in a good way,) and its amazing. Though, not sure how it'd taste with a less conservative topping selection.
We also got the meatball sliders, which is a fancy way to name a meatball sub on garlic bread (cut into 3 sections.) It was also very good, and a nice compliment to our meatless pizza.
It was a modest size appetizer, and hard to imagine as sharable with more than 2 people (yeah, its 3 sections, but they aren't super big.) It was $7, which is just a little high, but not unreasonable.
The quality of the food is absolutely worth it, but the asking price makes it a difficult sell for a casual pizza night.
Eitherway, we'll be back!
THIS PLACE IS THE BEST
pizza joint around. Hands down. It very much deserves its high ratings. For starters, can you imagine an eco-friendly pizza restaurant in Florida? That's practically an oxymoran. This place is! From environmentally friendly delivery vehicles to available gluten free pizzas and fresh organic ingredients, it breaks the mold.
It's not a "mom & pop," but it certainly had the feel of one and is a delightful change from the corporate pizza parlors that inhabit every strip mall.
So how are the pizzas? Well, I had the Pear & Gorgonzola Pizza with multigrain crust that was surely one of the very best pizzas I've ever had. My wife had the Sausage & Tricolor Pepper Pizza with multigrain crust and it, too, was fabulous.
BTW, our salad before the pizzas was also fantastic. And, wonder of wonders, it was served room temperature which I have always thought to be the very best way to serve salad. It has much more flavor and wasn't just taken out of the fridge.
To drink? I asked for a Coke Zero and was told they only had Boylan's natural Diet Cane Cola which proved to be excellent.

Zucchini app is fresh and tasty (and vegan). Never disappointed with my pizza orders. Wish it was a larger place only because I selfishly want to be sat the minute I walk in so I can start gobbling up this yummy, healthy food....guilt free. (It's so healthy that I want to sign up to run a Marathon when I finish)...nah..not really.
Review Source:Ok, only being in town for the weekend, I checked out fellow Yelper reviews for pizza, and decided to give Pizza Fusion a try.
I called in my order (cheese pizza), and it was ready for pick up in 20 minutes. Â I got there as required, was waited on by a nice young girl who had my pizza waiting. Â
I couldn't hardly wait until we got to my parents place because of the great smell. Â When we finally opened the box, it looked like a perfect cheese pizza with just the right amount of sauce peaking out amongst the melted cheeses. Â The taste was fantastic. Â
One of the best pizzas I've eaten, and the only negative thing I can say is that it's 210 miles from our home :). Â Thanks fellow Yelpers! Â Next time I'm in Fort Myers, I'll definitely be back to Pizza Fusion.
From the moment that you walk in the door, you feel not only welcome, but entranced.  The menu has a myriad of not only vegetarian, but vegan options.  Regardless of your palette, Pizza Fusion has something for you to eat, drink, and enjoy.. (Not to mention that all of the ingredients are pure and natural!)  I have never had a less than perfect meal here, and I do come a few times a month.  Do  not miss Pizza Fusion if you are to ever visit Fort Myers.  It is definitely an experience worth living and eating through many times over.
Review Source:First time there today.
Although we went during the lunch time rush hour, it was really worth it. Lunch was the right price as well - $4.99 for the personal pizza and side salad (a Monday through Friday lunch special!).
Pepperoni personal pizza on the multi grain crust was good. Last time I enjoyed thin crust like this, I was living in Brookline and frequenting a different pizza joint. The side salad seemed as big as the pizza. Cesar dressing wasn't over powering. Next time I go for lunch, I'm going to try the pepperoni on white, just to see if there is any major difference.
It seems that everyone in there today, was going for the lunch special, and judging by the lack of empty seats, Pizza Fusion is a hidden gem in the plaza its in.
Definitely going back!
Had a pepperoni, mushroom, onion and tomato pizza tonight. It was awesome! The pizzas taste great and they have lots of menu options for anyone's dietary restrictions. I would give it five stars, but the only downfall is the price of the pizza and they only have two sizes. I don't mind the price I paid, but it would only feed about two people... Â Would like a little more bang for my buck!
Review Source:Fort Myers rejoice. Vegan-friendly pizza options have arrived!
Pizza Fusion has good pizza, great bread sticks, a decent wine selection and reasonable prices. Â The wait staff are friendly and helpful and the service is quite fast.
I've been here once about a year ago and would definitely go back. Â I was really impressed by their menu and their focus on being more eco-friendly and organic than other pizza places.
My whife has a gluten allergy and was super happy to be able to eat a pizza from a real pizzeria instead of baking them at home. All pizzas are delicious. The non glutenfee pizzas are more expensive compared to other places, but I am sure there is a reason for this (organic means more expensive).
Review Source:Thank you for making my being Gluten Free so tolerable!
After spending a few good years in LA, and discovering Pizza Fusion, I was sad to think that I wouldn't have it again.. I was so delighted to find this location with the help of Yelp! I stopped here during my 2 week cross country road trip for a well deserved and needed gluten free fix.
Their pizza never fails me. Ingredients that are fresh and tasty, service that is above standard and ambiance that is much desired!
Keep it up pizza people!
This place has good pizza and great salads. The crispy wheat crust was tasty, the sauce slightly sweet and the cheese exceptional. However the toppings were light with one oversized pepperoni on each slice. Service was spotty and getting refills was an issue. Just did enough to get 4 stars but if we go back and service is still weak I would say 3 stars.
Review Source:A new resident of Fort Myers, I've been on the lookout for restaurants to fall in love with. The search was becoming relatively disappointing until I tried Pizza Fusion-- which I'm sure will become a spot I frequent now that I'm an official Lee County resident!
While Pizza Fusion is a chain (an international chain, no less!) if you were to stumble into this place, you'd never know it. It's found in an unassuming strip mall, but inside, it's a nice, laid back yet sophisticated setting for a reasonably-priced pizza joint. It's green-friendly through and through, so the walls are decorated with facts about it's earth-aiding endeavors (i.e. delivery cars are all hybrids).
The staff was incredibly friendly-- at first I thought we had just caught our server on a great day, he was so upbeat, but I soon realized that it seems like that's just the demeanor of the employees, which is very refreshing! My fellow diner and I sat at the bar and he was full of interesting tidbits and helpful dining tips, despite the fact that he was incredibly busy.
I was so excited to find such a friendly and refreshingly healthy place, I probably wouldn't have even minded if the pizza wasn't all that great... but it's FANTASTIC. They have so many great options, from vegan pizzas to meaty (although free range) dishes. I tried the Founder's Pizza and would highly recommend it. Unlike most of your typical chain pizzerias, you can choose between wheat or white crust, allowing you to be a bit healthier if you so please.
Perhaps my favorite part of this place is one I should keep a secret. But without too many Yelpers in Fort Myers, I guess I can let it slip-- if you're a wine drinker, the night to come is Tuesdays. Each table ordering a pizza gets a wine credit, which meant that I tried a delicious pizza, drank half a bottle of great wine, and had a throughly pleasant evening for less than $12. I'm not sure it gets much better than that!
I certainly appreciate the eco-friendliness of this place, and the vegan and organic options. Â I ordered a personal pizza with garlic, spinach, and vegan cheese, and thought it was pretty good. Â The crust is very thin, a la flatbread, and I would have preferred something more traditional. Â Still, the toppings were good, and we were all happy with the beer and wine selections.
