Lazy Flamingo

Great service (sat at the bar), great oysters, fun/laid back atmosphere!

We were on vacation on our way to the Keys and we were spending the night in Ft. Myers.  After an afternoon of exploring, time got away from us and we needed something to eat but it was getting late and it was Sunday night!  We found this place by accident and we were happy to see that it was still open after 9:00 pm.  My companion had the ribs, which were tender and absolutely delicious!  Who would think a seafood dive like this could have such delicious baby back ribs?  I had the fried grouper basket.  It was a bit dry but not too bad.  The flavor was good.  The French fries were boring and like many places, just thrown in for some carbs...The quantities were plentiful.  Our server was preoccupied and would come and check on us as an aside.  She was pleasant enough when she appeared but then would disappear outside or wherever it was she would go.  We probably won't come to this place again if we come back to Ft. Myers.  Overall...boring and average food.

Frozen bland Sysco appetizers. Rubber shrimp. Nasty fishy greasy grouper bites. Had to send that back. Atmosphere was nice but food terrible.
