Cibo

I'm a New Yorker who went to highschool/middle school in Fart Myers and I'm down visiting my folks. We had a truly great meal from beginning to end at Cibo's tonight.  Wally the waiter (no joke,that was his name!) was a great guy, as was the hostess. Calamari was very light and flavorful; cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth with great sauces and an arugula salad. My dinner of pulled pork ravioli sounded strange to my parents, but I had a feeling it was going to be awesome and sure enough it was. The slightly 'lemoned' cannoli was a great ending, along with the wonderful wine. Only issue was the portions were too big...my meal was a special, so it was average size. But my parents got something off the menu and they were ridiculously two portions dumped onto one plate, as was the dessert (who provides two full-size cannoli for one?). Americans are already too fat and food is best enjoyed when the portions are fit for human consumption not obese consumption. It's a little gross when there is that much chow on your plate, so I'd hold back a little and have us craving more rather than reaching for the tums from over-eating. That's why they don't get 5 stars.

We have eaten there twice and both times were fantastic.  Food , Drinks And service were outstanding.  And it was priced very fairly.  We will go back again, soon.

This place is amazing! The service was fantastic, food great, even the bathrooms are cool. The only thing they could improve is location. You would never expect something so great in a strip mall. Time to move to a free standing building or in gulfcoast or coconut point. Great stuff though!!
