  Excellent stromboli!  I always order mine medium, but you can choose from mild, medium or hot.  I remember them being better, but I prefer this strom over others available in the area.  Be really nice and patient to the people there for good service.  I've seen the snap at others who were not so nice to them.

  Pizza King used to be a 5-star stromboli place in my opinion, but something about it seems to have changed in the past year or so.  Everytime I've placed a carryout order, at least part of my order has been wrong (I detest mushrooms, and ask for none on my strom, and the last 3 times they have put them on there, one time they put extra mushrooms!).  Last time I ordered they put no sauce on my stromboli!?  The sandwiches seem slopped together as if no care was taken in making your order.  They never seem to accept coupons (which are not expired) for some reason or another.  I used to love their strombolis, but I'm thinking of finding a new place.

  I love Pizza Kings Stroms! I don't know how long I have been eating them.....but let's just say....years. I can't say I have ever eaten in the restaurant, because we have always gotten them to go. You can't go wrong with a medium or hot spiced Strom! I live in the Chicago area now and always get one when I am home. I often get them frozen and bring them back up! They are awesome!

  I had the Stromboli last night and was very disappointed. The roll was mushy, the sausage was mushy and the sauce was too sweet. Maybe it's just me, but I think the new owner has changed the recipe for the worse.
  My brothers and sister used to make Pizza King their 1st stop when they came back to Evansville, but not anymore.
  What used to be the undisputed king of Strombolis has become an also-ran.
  You can't improve on perfection. Bring back the original recipe!

  Pizza King is good, but was once great.  Known for their awesome stromboli, the pizza is equally as good.  The price is foolishly high.  Somewhat recently, new ownership took over, and the prices increased and the size and toppings decreased.  Local favorite.

  Hmmm...childhood memories of this place.  As a kid, I lived within walking distance and it was always a treat to sink my teeth into one of their incredible stromboli's.   One might have a better chance of flying into space then finding a stromboli this good.  
  
  Hot Tip:  My brother and I were talking about the Strom's and he told me you can buy them frozen....now I can go buy one to go and bring it back to the ATL.
